Elmer's Glue

Thanks guys. #2 definitely looks and smells the part, the flavor is good, and the potency is on par. I think #4 probably could have gone longer. She has more hairs than any of the others and is lacking in smell, flavor, and potency compared to her sisters.

#3 and #5 are definitely the least dense and greasiest buds, but the flavor of the smoke leaves a strong coating in your mouth that lasts for a long time. #6 might be my favorite smoke though. She has a strong pine skunk smell/flavor and really packs a punch.

I'm finishing up week 1 of the next round today. I'm excited to see if anything changes this time. I'll also throw a few cuts outside and see how they do this summer. I'll continue to update this thread with round 2 inside and round 3 outside. Should be a fun year.

I guess I'm getting old and just discovered what was happening on instagram. It's a lot easier to just post ad-hoc pictures from my phone there, so I have been posting there lately. I will still update my threads here, but I am much more active on IG. My instagram name is osirisbotanical and I think I'm the only one posting with the hashtags #elmersglue and #relentlessgenetics.

looks like a gg4 leaning phenol with tighter kush type buds,

I'm actually still running 6 of the 7 phenos from the first round. It's so hard to toss out something that is still better than most. Oh well, too many strains too little time.

I'm leaning heavily towards number 3 and number 6 for their effects. They all look and smell ridiculous, but I think the potency is strongest in these 2. They all have a similar piney, woodsy, funk flavor too.

I've got a few of each cut running in my greenhouse now. I need to decide which one will go full season in the next couple weeks. Wish you guys were in NorCal so we could sesh it up and talk shop.

Thanks, heady. I'm not worried about it too much. I'm in a med state and within my legal limits, so I don't feel a security risk from posting photos on IG. My pics are innocent compared to many (see guns, cash, hard drugs, etc). I'm just a botanist.

#6 was a beast. I knew she was going to stretch, so I cut her down pretty short before flower. She responded very well and had many nice tops.

I only kept the top stuff and got 28 grams

It woulda been nice to see the parents and some lab results to compare the parents with the offspring apples to apples.
Otherwise, I only see bag appeal.

the parents were gg4, tested at 26 to 32 % thc, x the white, last test I saw was 26 %, also saw a test of elmers hit 26 %, you need to know these things Bonghead before you come disrespecting a mans hard work,

Hey Bongstar. I agree it would have been nice to have both parents going to see a perfect blend of the two. The internet has helped a lot because pics of both are abundant.

Also, tests would be nice. I looked around and can't justify spending another 750-1000 to get 7 plants tested. I even thought about buying the DIY liquid chromatography kits for comparison purposes. At the end of the day, I decided it would be better to share the nuggets with friends and get feedback that way.

I can tell you they are all very strong and it's the flavor/terps that will determine the keeper for me. I'm going with a longer fade/flush this time around, so hopefully that will enhance those flavors a bit to make the final selection.

I have test results for elmers and it tested @ 26% thc, 28% total cannabiniods.
