Elmer's Glue

I'll be following this thread. Just around to cracking my Elmer's this week, and got perfect germ rate of 4/4. I also use similar setup using FN Bloom, FP and also koolbloom liquid and dry. Quick question for ya testy, I noticed my previous bottle of FNB always mixed up to 5.2 pH at 1.3EC but my new bottle is a full point lower at same EC at 4.2ph. I even double checked my meter with calibration solution. I did notice that when I checked some nuts solution that I mixed up to 5.5ph two days prior, it was now 6.0 and that was just sitting in a bucket. Have you experienced this variable pH from bottle to bottle with FN and also do you mix and let it sit out a few days before feeding?

Yo Smokey! Good to have you on board. I have never noticed any fluctuations with my FN Bloom and I do not let it sit before feeding. I have a circulation pump constantly going in my res and just add water, food, or supplements as needed to maintain the ppm/ph I'm looking for.

One time though, I had a routine to use the exact same measurement of FNB every time I mixed up a new batch. I did this for months and didn't use my pH meter anymore. Plants started looking sick all the sudden and when I measured the pH, it was like 4 something. Long story, short... I was on city water and apparently they changed water sources with the seasons. The summer and winter water being delivered to my house was like .7-.8 different by season. Doubt that's your issue, but it was about this time of year. Good luck bro!

The Elmer's Glue are about 5 and a half weeks old today. I went out of town for work the week before Thanksgiving and must have messed up something in the reservoir before I left. The ph was really low (5.1) and the ppm was really high (1250) when I got back. All of the ladies were burnt and locked out when I returned.

It's been a week since I got back and they are starting to drink again, but they are visibly hurt/stunted. There is quite a bit of variation in growth between the 7 EGs. It was evident before I went out of town and I'm not sure if the stress has made an impact.

I'm hoping they bounce back this week and I can flip the light sooner than later. I'll post pics later this week in hopes they are looking much better. I've burned plants that could not recover before and these don't look that bad. I'm hoping this just sets me back a couple weeks.

The EGs are looking much better, but still not great. I'm going to flush them with some tea tonight, take clones tomorrow, and then flip the light this weekend. I'll take before and after pics to see if the tea makes a noticeable difference.

Back in action

Back in action

So... life gets in the way some times and I'm not able to be as active as I would like on pot forums :)

My garden is still rocking and this first round of EGs turned out very nice. It is really hard picking a keeper.

I took pictures throughout the grow, so I am going to process the images this weekend and get pics up of all the ladies soon. I'm on my second round now and will be flipping the light any day.

So, I finally got these girls healthy enough to flower and flipped the light on the 14th of December. I didn't take pics again until 17 days in.

Harvest Pics Coming Soon

Harvest Pics Coming Soon

Ok, so that's all the grow photos I have. I need a little more time with the harvest shots and then I'll come back with a few details about each lady. Everyone was cut down on day 60.

EG #1

EG #1

This was the runt of the bunch since the very beginning. She didn't root her pot as well as the others, didn't drink as much, and didn't stretch much at all. I had her propped up on an upside down pot so that she could get some light. I have clones, so hopefully she'll do better in round 2.

I only kept the top stuff and got 20 grams.
