Prison inmate sneaks pig into design of state crest on three dozen police cars

A prison inmate who makes car stickers and license plates decided to have the last laugh by adding the image of a pig to the official crest on state cruisers.

On the 16-inch car door stickers, made by prisoners in Windsor, Vermont, a patch on a cow in a scene with mountains has been changed to the shape of a pig, a derogatory term for police.

A Vermont state trooper discovered the pig while inspecting his vehicle on Wednesday and state police have said they believe the image has been added to about 30 cars.

there is a picture if you wanna follow the link...

You gotta love some of the other "pig" stories @ the same link, like:

"Police shoot dead autistic teen in parents' basement after he 'attacks them with butter knife"

And:

"'Cowboy cop' who planted crack under couple's car seat to boost arrest quotas escapes jail after SOBBING in court"

And pigs wonder why we hate them?

:shark:
One time I had a fed search my pickup because he said he recognized the fake weed ad on the back of my upside down HT mag on the seat and that was probable cause for a search.

moral of the story dont trust anybody even employed by the feds especially if they have a badge :angrymod:

'Cowboy cop' who planted crack under couple's car seat to boost arrest quotas escapes jail after SOBBING in court
A veteran NYPD detective framed an innocent couple by planting crack in their car during a search.

The sentencing of Detective Jason Arbeeny today is the latest development in the police corruption trail involving eight officers from the Brooklyn South Narcotics squad.

Numerous embarrassing revelations have emerged from the trial, which has exposed the seedy underbelly of drug policing in New York in which officers provided junkies with drugs in exchange for sexual acts and planted drugs on guileless victims to meet arrest quotas.

Arbeeny was convicted of ‘flaking,’ the practice of planting drugs on blameless people to reach their quota of felony collars and claim overtime, the New York Daily News reported.

He was found guilty of putting a twist of crack under a car seat in Yvelisse DeLeon and Juan Figueroa’s car during a January 2007 bust in Coney Island, New York.

The trial which ended in October 2011 left the judge shocked at the ‘cowboy culture‘ among narcotics enforcement officers.

Supreme Court Justice Gustin Reichbach was appalled at the force’s casual attitude to arresting innocents, on the assumption that the charges would probably be dismissed.

But Arbeeny who was facing up to four years behind bars, miraculously escaped jail yesterday, after bursting into tears in court.

The police detective of 14 years broke down whimpering to Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Gustin Reichbach. that he felt ashamed and ;can’t look at myself in the mirror anymore,'

Begging shamelessly, the disgraced cop said 'Sir, I am begging you, please don't send me to jail.'

The veteran detective apologized to his two dupes.

'My oath went down the window, my pride went out the window,” he said.
The victims, had asked Reichbach to send Arbeeny to jail.
But the judge said his heart was softened by the defendant's stance that he had lost his pension and his health, as well as his job.

He said :'I came into court this morning determined that the nature of this crime requires some jail time,' the Daily News reported.

'I frankly didn't expect the defendant, at the 11th hour, to be making these claims.'

Arbeeny was sentenced to five years’ probation and 300 hours of community service with the proviso that hours spent warning police recruits about repeating his crimes will count double.

Reichbach called Arbeeny's behaviour 'not only reprehensible abuse of trust and authority but the corruption of the entire criminal justice system.'

NY cop: Not that I'd know anything personally from either side, but it must be weird to be a Cop in a Jail. Maybe a bit more uncomfortable than it already is to be incarcerated.. Maybe I'm wrong...

...if the police state continues....Im out of here.

Well said. It's all about quality of life, IMHO.

Fuck that noise. How many people ended up losing their jobs and having serious, life-altering consequences that fucked them over for the rest of their lives because of him? Off to jail with you, bucko.

There's no "crying" in court, or is there? This guy should have gotten the maximum time because of the lives he ruined and the betrayal of public trust, if there is such a thing anymore. This is a guy who didn't mind locking up innocent people so he could get paid, but when it was his turn to pay the price for being guilty, he cries like a little bitch. That judge should be disbarred.

You mean like cuba?

ie: after this last election, if we didn't see SOME kind of response we never will and the last anti war protests of any substance was 40+ years ago. The dumbing down has for the most part worked and continuing and if you want a real view into a decade into the future get yourself a copy of Harrison Bergeron.

Actually I remember millions of Americans taking to the streets to protest Bush's invasion of Iraq before it got started 10 years ago. Also, Occupy Wall Street could be said to be anti-war in that there was a high awareness of the military-industrial complex and the extreme influence they play in our jacked up society.
