Yeah I def got to get a hold of a camera to snap a few more shots before everything wraps up! I reported earlier that I did spot some male flowers on SAD#3 but then no more. I should have been watching the Bubba next to SAD#3! It had a good amount of male flowers develop hidden in the middle and bottom of the plant which seeded my SAD#3 pretty good. Just understand I am a smoker who discovered this wonderful hobby when weed prices started to get out of control. I don't really get bent out of shape when mishaps happen because every gram I get from my grow is a gram I don't have to buy. I like the idea of SAD x Bubba so Ill harvest the seeds and pop them in the future and see what becomes of them! I hear some people say that popping seeds from hermies are a waste of time but a lot todays elites are products of herm seeds. If I pop them and they don't turn out to my expectations its still only a waste of time if I don't take anything positive away from the journey. Im high so sorry for getting off track! Although I raved about SAD#3s structure #1 is finishing with the best structure and the denser nugs. #3 does have the greasiest buds though! #1 is a beauty! The leaves are slowly yellowing now with a lot of purple coming in. Takes me back when they were in veg and I noticed purple in the branches. Might let them go about 65-70 days. Thanks again to Tommy G for offering these fine genetics! Def have that Afghani musky funk to them!!! Will get more pics up before I chop. Enjoy your weekends IC!!!!!!

Finally got a camera to snap one last session before I chop. They will be coming down within a couple of days. Despite the rough going at the beginning of the grow I must say that I have enjoyed to the fullest having these lovely ladies in the garden! Thanks again Tommy for getting these genetics out to the masses! Really wishing that my situation was such that I could keep SAD#1 around but someday maybe. I am certain that I did not grow them out to their fullest potential so def worth getting another pack and pop the 2 seeds I have left so sometime in the future be on the look out for " Edro Meets SAD- Reloaded!" When I heard yesum's request for that smoke report I thought " Yesum, right away!" Pardon my corny humor but I get like that when I'm high! Me and the wife just finished hitting some SAD#3 about 30mins ago so I am more than ready to give my smoke report! LOL!!! If you want my wife's opinion on the smoke you will have to wake her up!!! LOL! She woke up for a second about 15 minutes ago mumbling about how good her nap was and passed back out!
I really have to thank Tommy G! Not just for the seeds but for saving my hobby for growing! My wife was going to make me stop growing again because she's a smoker but paranoid about me growing. After sampling this smoke this I told her I would break everything down she was now like " Do what you want if want keep it moving." I have issues with temps in my area so I cant once it gets hot so I might try one more round just to sample what's in the stash. When she makes me quit growing then I just start researching and collecting strains. It drives her krazy but she enjoys the luxury of being able to smoke at leisure so.....
Anyways back to the smoke report.. The buds are dense and covered in trichs! They have a classic musky, sweet smell to them which also translates to the taste. Effect comes on pretty strong after hitting the jay a couple of times. I can feel waves of warmth first caressing my head then traveling down throughout my entire body. My body becomes totally relaxed and I am free to wonder and entertain myself within my own thoughts. My thoughts are only interrupted by my wife's occasional snoring from her SAD experience. I normally feel this relaxing buzz for about 1.5-2 hours. In the middle of the buzz heavy muchies set in. Thanks for the higher groc bill Tommy!!! LOL!!! Since smoking this the wife and I have ended up in every restaurant in a 10 mile radius!!!! Not over strong but packs a nice punch and I have a pretty high tolerance! Its the middle of the day so I am not going to sleep but when I smoke this late nights I have not been able to finish whatever show or movie Im watching. With all the problems I went through this grow I still can't believe it smokes this good! I will look through a couple of other breeder's Afghans but this Sweet Seeds SAD def gets two thumbs up!! If the wife were awake she would put her thumbs up too! This strain has fulfilled all my expectations!! I did not get the best out her but I am satisfied with the outcome. Someday in the future be on the look out for "Edro Meets SAD-Reloaded-Edro's Revenge!!!!!" Until then keep it SWEET and smoke something good!!!!
