hah I like that, nice descript ^^I know the creosote railroad tie smell
my nycd smells just like mandarin oranges..the ecsd reminds me of a train/railroad yard when i rub the stem.
I've got the ECSD cut and have not ever noticed a smell from any stem...
She actually doesnt have much of a smell till 4 weeks in flower at the least .
hmmmmmm.....????
I've yet to run into a plant that did not have stems that smelled at least a little. Thousands deep now. It is one of the best initial selections tools when breeding. My SD ibl plants, been through several packs, have very stinky stems especially the ones you want. You might have damage to your sensory smell perception perhaps? I can't imagine ECSD stems not smelling but have not grown it myself anyone else want to chime in on this?
Curious if this is true.
I've never tried the real deal ecsd but I was gifted 2x Shrom x ECSD fems seeds - Should I give em a pop? It sounds dang tasty
Ya know guys, for me sometimes it goes sometimes it comes. When I need to take notes, I do it after I water them and I take a warm shower. For some reason Ive noticed the warm shower helps me smell better.
Smells very similar to my keeper Chem 4 cross cut on the stem rub, but with out the sweet floral aspect. The Chem4 cross has that lemon pledge cleaner during the growth that matures into stinky b/o, skunky smell (but with a strong sweet floral background when done just right) and taste like a wonderful, yet to be identified, floral citrus fruit and a touch of a earth all the way to the back, that sticks to the palate. The sours, instead of a sweet floral background, have a stonger stinky skunky background but If the sours taste similar but with a more happy sativa kick to the high i'll be real happy.
I just poped my rez sd about a moth ago after reading your thread, although I had it in the fridge so damn long. Thats the first time Ive ever had so many males, popped and planted with the moon, kept moist and everything. I guess the good luck had to run out some time. Ive got two phenos at around day 15 and I am absolutly loving the vigor. Its on par with ssh. Only thing different is i had to tie the all the bud shoots to the main stem. Lots of growth at the bud sights early on that lets you know she is gonna be a major yielder. Gonna snip off those tarp like, bigger than life fans at around 25. Cant wait to choke on a few bones.
She's my always and forever keeper homies, with peace!
