ECSD Monstah!

H

Hazeseeker

Looks amazing CC, buds look really heavy,
that's interesting about putting 2 clones to 1 pot as well man,
i've got a big 30/35 litre pot here that i never use,
only used it once growing an Orange Bud in there that grew into a monster 7 foot plant,
i may try that out 1 day with the Uk Cheese:yes:,
is anybody currently offering ECSD crosses in seedform at present?, need to get myself some of this sour goodness

peace :joint:

I like that plant.

I see you use rigid insulation as well. easy-peasy and reflective as well.

Do you double plant for production purposes? Because it makes a lot of sense, I have just never thought of it.

another stellar grow my man. my bro and i have the clone only cut. i have yet to put her in flower, but he has her around 30 days now. i will get some pics from him, as his technique for tying down and training is superb. his ecsd looks like it will be a two to three zipper, at about 2 and a half feet tall-lots and lots of colas. question: when do you really start smelling the stank on this cut? seems the smell is not as strong at this point as either the chem d for example, or the ffa. it is def there, just not as much in your face. great job man.....sub

About growing two clones per pot... Clones don't seem to fight each other in a pot, whereas two individual seed plants tend to fight each other for dominance. Maybe it works better with clones because they perceive the roots in the pot as coming from the same plant, so they don't compete as aggressively.

I once got 12 ounces from two ECSDs in one pot.

I only use this method for plants like Sour Diesel, or SFV OGK because they are tall and have long internodes. The space above the pot should be used as efficiently as possible. If it were Chem D, I wouldn't plant two per pot because ChemD is very bushy and the two plants would be overloading the middle. ECSD and OGK are great candidates for this method.

Even the monster ECSD in this pic shows that there's a lot of space in the gut region that could have been better used if a second ECSD was in the pot with it. Of course, two plants per pot means the pot is dry twice as fast, so keep em moist! hehehe They'll surprise you how fast they'll drink.

subrob, ECSD isn't as strong smelling as Chem D, but should be about on par with FFA as far as smell potency. The early weeks of flower for ECSD are lemony, citrussy, more than skunky. But after the first 30-35 days, they'll start to smell pretty strong. ;)

Hazeseeker, Reservoir Seeds is (I think) the ultimate source for Sour Diesel in seed form. I'm sure some will disagree, but they are great ECSD genetics all around. As far as availability... I have no clue who has them available at the moment.

DirtyFreddy, Yup, no taste of sulfur when it's done for small amounts of time. I love my nuke. :) ;)
