ECSD Monstah!

This is the largest-yielding ECSD I've ever grown, and I haven't even harvested it yet! hehehe I'm just confident it will be.

She's about 5 feet tall (like most of my ECSDs get), and is in just 3 gallons of Pro-Mix.

What you don't see in this picture is the massive side buds all around this lady. AMAZING.

My Sours always get the sweet spot in the room, which is the space between my 1000 watt HPSs. The light spashes against two sides of the palnt in this spot, and the plants LOVE it there. :)

She was fed organically. Foxfarm and guano tea from The Guano Company in Humboldt County ;) "A little goes a long way!"

More pics will come later. Body shots, more bud shots of higher quality, etc. The room is getting a little sulfur vapor at the moment. My C99 had a spot of powdery milgoddamdew. Nothing serious. The sulfur will screw the PM where the sun don't shine, and that'll be that. :) I love my sulfur burner! hehehe If you've ever battled with PM, you KNOW why I love it. ;)

Anyhow, this Sour is well on her way to 6-7 ounces of fine, oragnic supadank. :) BTW, my hands are pretty BIG, and those colas make them look pretty small. :)

Wow, those are incredible CC. Sorry to hear about your pm, sounds like you have the
correct weapons in your arsenal. :) CC, may I ask the lineage of your ecsd? I'm gonna
be making some sd seed purchases in the future. I was hoping anna c seeds would
come out with some more but I'm not up to date with whats going on with them.
Have you smoked many offerings of ecsd? If so do you have a fav?
I have two of those "sweet spots" in my garden between thw 1000's. The lights can
be 3 ft. away on each side and thats just about perfect. :) Always trying to put my
favorite girls in those spots.
Wonderful plants, thanks for sharing the beauty. Subscribed and looking forward to
the next installment. NS

Sure. :) This is the clone-only ECSD mom. The response to Wayzer has some of your answers. Do I have a favorite??? Well... you simply can't go wrong with the ECSD clone-only, so I have grown it non-stop for years now. :) But more widely... my favorite smoking experience is when I don't have to smoke the same stuff all the time. :) A variety of beautifully cultivated marijuana is my favorite strain. :) :) It's all good if it's grown right.

This is the clone-only, original Sour Diesel clone that all the breeding projects started with. However, I've tried many, many Sour Diesel hybrids and was impressed by the GREAT majority of them. Sour Diesel, like Chemdog D, is very dominant in most breeding. This is great if you're looking for close representations of the original clone-onlys.

If you buy Sour Diesel seeds, and you find a lady that looks very similar to pictures of the ECSD clone, you are very likely looking at what you're after. In my experience, Sour Diesel plants from seed that look like the ECSD mom will also carry many of the smell/taste traits of the mother. Same with the Chemdog D.

Good hunting. :)

I was organic for years. I recently finished about a year and a half of trying synthetic and synthetically-based techniques. Gotta keep learning you know. :)

FFA is some primo weed, with a unique taste and great high.
ECSD is some primo weed, with a unique taste and great high.
I love them both less the more I'm forced to smoke any one of them, and I love them more the longer I go without them. :)

I'll get a picture of the whole plant in a few. :)

More pics of ECSD (clone-only).

For the sake of perspective... the pot this plant is in is a 3 gallon pot.

Here's a look into my garden. To understand what you see in this picture, all you need to know is that every pot has two plants in it. You can only see one pot, on the right, which is FFA. Notice there's two FFAs in the same pot? The row of plants on the right are all Sour Diesels, two plants per pot. There's three pots on that right side along the wall, six ECSD plants.

There's one plant that's only one per pot, and that's the C99 in the middle of the picture.

All these plants are no more than 35 days 12/12.

Brastaman, She'll go another week or more. :) I like 11 week Sour Diesel for taste and potency, but 10 weeks is just about as good.

DirtyFreddy,
do you find that burning sulphur in late flower like that will leave some residue on the buds? can you taste it?
Firt of all, I don't run sulfur for hours and hours at a time, like some folks do. I think it's entirely unnecessary to do so. I run for an hour or less. I have NEVER tasted sulfur in my buds after using sulfur, MUCH to my surprise. The sulfur burner is a godsend tool. I call it the nuke. :)

Great looking buds!

I am flowering out a monster ECSD now too... in a five gallon bucket. It's the original mom I recieved as a cutting 2 years ago.

Heres a shot of some sour D from my last grow... flowered 71 days

BTW... those look nice and tight for day 35!

yeah the sulfur burners are very effective. great piece of mind for cleaning your room in between runs. Im very surprised not to see more people using them. Ive always been too scared to run it any later than a couple of weeks into flower. next time i need it in flower ill try it in a low dose like you recommend.
thanks
