STOCK ALERT: Very last packs of Early Bubba regular available here at the source:

And this limited edition will be discontinued once sold out.

Is there a particular reason why this line will be discontinued? Is there something about it that didn't meet your expectations or just the fact that ACE focuses mainly on sativas and something like this is just a little side project?

Popped two Beans. Two turned out to be female. I wanted to scrog the violetta but she was lagging behind so I decided to scrog the two Early Bubbas. Might regret that decision since she has pretty thick stems.
She has big indicatype Leaves. Hope she finishes. I‘m around 51 north.
As a backup I have two Erdpurts and some Zamaldelica and Malawi Autos.

Thanks for joining us @TresPlantas :) with your 2 outdoor Early Bubba girls! Beautiful and healthy Afghanicas!

Certainly, this type of indica strains are quite columnar and react slower to pruning and training compared to sativas and hybrids with a strong sativa content.

This release is a limited edition with very limited stock, and I feel that most of the work with ErdPurt and its direct hybrids is almost done. I would like to dedicate my efforts to other projects now.

The Early Bubba I posted before shows a very columnar growth so far, there are some side branches but they go up almost vertically. That's why I topped it just recently. Also it suffered from overfertilization I think, but seems to be recovering now. The other Early Bubba that I've got going was germinated a few weeks later and shows more horizontal growth.

Early Bubba No.1 from a little over a week ago.

Thanks for the update @apsu first is indeed super columnar Afghan, second one is showing much more vigorous branching. Hope you get at least one female. Have a great summer time ☀️

Thanks @dubi I wish you a great summer time as well. Early Bubba No.1 just recently turned out to be male so he isn't going to be around much longer. No.2 has been showing female preflowers for quite some time, but hasn't started bud formation yet.

@TresPlantas How are your's doing? Did the scrogging work out?

Here is how mine look like now:

Looking good @TresPlantas ! I'm never quite sure when to start counting flowering days with outdoor plants. It's just not as clear cut as with an indoor setup. I think it was about a week ago that I looked at my Early Bubba and thought that flowering has now definitely started.

Here is a pic from today.

Hi @apsu she delayed a bit to enter flowering stage, don't you think ?
She looked healthy in early flowering at the end of August, and I hope she’s now well into flowering three weeks later!

What a lovely bush of Early Bubbas! @TresPlantas :D I would say 2 weeks into flowering in your 25th August pic.

How are they doing guys ?

I had to harvest early. The weather is really bad this year. Warm but with super high humidity. I‘m talking fog in the morning and dripping wet plant. I would guess that I harvested in week 6. Early but the smell has already developed. It is super hashy. Very nice.
Your idea of growing more Sativa leaning plants could be s solution but I think my plan for next year is to grow early finishers and planting in big fabric pots to trigger flower a bit earlier. I think if we have an only slightly better season I can easily finish off the erdpurts in containers for sure. My second Erdpurt is finishing up right now and up to this point she is very resistant to botrytris. Giving the conditions and her rock hard structure this is astonishing.

I have seen a similar delay with the Early Bubbas last year, as well as with this years Nepal Jam. First pistils show as early as late June, but flowering only starts in late August. I am around 53 North though which might affect things with the long days. Also they are on a balcony in a city, where the light pollution can mess with them.

This was two days ago. I am kinda intentionally starving them in the hopes of speeding things up a bit. Sadly this Early Bubba is a real pm magnet and I have to remove leaves every day. Didn't really have that problem last year. Not a spot on the Nepal Jam though.

Wow :D she is indeed a beauty @TresPlantas pretty black ErdPurt exprssion.
Glad this one is dealing better with the adverse conditions
How is she on the nose ?
Pheno 1 had a coffee nose and this pheno is hashy I would say. It‘s hard to pin down the exact nose scince she get‘s overwhelmed by the violetta next to her.
I think she will develop her full potential in the jar. I have the feeling that the woody, hash, gas and pine terps get better the longer you cure and the candy, fruity stuff tends to have a smaller window. But I might be wrong

The violetta has such a fresh smell and it spreads all the way down to the house/street. It‘s a citrus/lemon smell but not that chemical hazy smell. It‘s super fresh. It‘s really great and it made me putting her in the indoor rotation.
