Glycerin is a sugar alcohol and doesn't go bad, though it will absorb water if left uncapped. I've had some glycerin tinctures that are still potent over four years old, that I keep in the refrigerator in dark bottles.
Thanks Gray Wolf. The reason i wondered is because i blended my tincture in the blender before i drained it through cheesecloth... It turned from black to honey white... Over the last few days, a white "cream" has risen to the top and the bottom 95% is light - dark brown... You think there is any rish with this creamy top? Thanks again.
