Only thing that bothers me about the seedsman version is the lack of transparency about what's in it. If you saw their thread posted here they said it was outcrossed. An outcross is by definition a breeding using a different strain. Then they contradicted that saying it was only blueberry used, so I asked what bb lines did they use and they replied (purple thai x afghan) x (thai x afghan) which is a vague reply if I ever saw one.

So did they attempt to recreate bb using those lines or was it just a jerkoff reply regurgitating back to me the lines that make up blueberry? I suspect the latter which is disappointing. Jtrich either is unable to or refuses to answer a very simple question about the seed he's offering. Too many unknowns with seedsman and their bb line. I like to know what I'm growing.

Yeah, I really do too. Especially if I'm going to breed this BB sativa.

That being said, after seeing the Phylos data I don't really trust the 'trueness' of any name or heredity claims anymore. Constant re-naming and misrepresentation for decades has eliminated the validity of most names entirely now, even those sworn to be 'real deal for sure!' by good sources. I'm moving towards landrace breeding projects now.

If I wanted to buy pure blueberry seeds I"d give this a try - Dynasty Oregon Huckleberry. I ordered his versions of it crossed with GSC and Afghan but the pure one looks really enticing:

Here you go, Scrappy. She's more sativa than you can really tell by these pics; the plant structure is very sativa but she doesn't stretch too outrageously in bloom, maybe 30% or so. Her leaf blades are prolly her most indica trait.

She's a good yielder with a nice strong cerebral up high and a strong/overwhelming smell and taste of baking blueberry pie goodness. Her true heritage/lineage is unknown. She was acquired in the Seattle area in 2004 by a friend of mine. Heaviest blueberry taste and smell I have come across in 20+ years, although some of my Black Betty projects have come pretty close.

She has some slight autoflower tendencies, but stops short of actually flowering and is easily brought back to a rapid and vigorous veg state under bright 24/0 lighting. Obviously not too bad because I've had her for years now. Easy to please, with no special needs at all. Done in 8-9 weeks depending upon what you look for in your flowers. Roots easily. Very difficult to reverse, as are many plants that semi-autoflower or show heavy pistil formation in veg...

I plan on having her forever! A true gem.

going to try auto blueberry dp, has anyone ever tried a grow with it?

Yes, I believe that the Belgian Club guys run it and are very happy. This is in a legal ish grow, in a fair fight, against a lot of competition, so I give a lot of value to their experiences

I think Jtrich can not tell us about the Blueberry because its the same as the one being sold by one of the Dutch companies. It seems like seedsman gets overstock seeds or something and the deal is they can not market them as such.

for instance they where recently giving out Nevill's Haze freebies

from what i understand its a pure blueberry fem selected for yield and flavor he probably meant its from a clone crossed to a blueberry male then a high yielding daughter was reversed to pollinate the mom. Thats why its "outcrossed" and "pure blueberry " and not a reversed self pollenation or s1 if you will or outcross to a different strain.

Whoa very nice frostqueen! Much different from the sativa cut I ran. I love those knobby chunky colas with hardly any leaves. Must be a breeze to trim, I'd imagine you could just pluck those fans and you're practically done.

Yep, she's an easy trim. The flowers are big and not too dense, a perfect burn to ash in the bowl. I'm not a big fan of rock-hard buds, as I don't grind before the puff.

As far as the 'sativa' part goes... she leans heavily sativa, but has many hybrid traits that make her structure shorter and keep her finish time to 9 weeks.

I think this one would be a perfect match for my clone of a friend's Neville's Haze that I just got. He calls it '100 day Haze', lol, so... finish times might get a bit longer with the offspring. I do have a silver haze that might also be a good pollinator.

A few years back I grew a dark veined Blueberry Indica dominate that was very popular locally. This was back when I grew clones exclusively, the mom was out of Canada.
I just received a pack of Blueberry seeds developed by Canuk Seeds. I am hoping for the same Canadian strain.

Found some old pictures, taller than I remembered, maybe not so much Indica after all.
