Yes but reality is they are taking food off your table and out of your kids mouths, and that's not cool. My personal opinion is that you should only get Blueberry from DJS. It keeps him going and ensures future generations of his gear, which to me (and many others!) is priceless.

agree 100%

ive got a OTM x IBB ( Mosca Seeds ) taste like sharp grapes, and after dry, tastes and smells like blueberry muffins..... ive been keeping this specific cut fot a litle over 3 years now.... i highly encourage you to pop some beens, extreamly blue terps!

Dj short has f4 blueberrys and there's only 3 different phenos coming out of the f2s, two of which are fire and one that is mediocre

you will not find OLDSCHOOL blueberry in any of the big breeders seed lines...

I've been at it for a long time...

Best Blueberry is OBVS found in pre 2000 DJ BB seeds stock...and if you're lucky enough...in his pre 90s work...

Look for true green phenos...or ones that are almost lime green...

I'm in the process of working with some very nice True OLDSCHOOL BB smelling plants atm..and I have goals...lol

Stay tuned..

Man oh man would I love some real oldschool dj blueberry seeds. Such a shame he decided to breed away from those blueberry terps. I've run a bb sativa cut that had it all but lost her.

Best I have now are some bx seeds of lem's cut which put out nice plants but hate knowing the bb genes are tainted with something else. Maybe I'm a purist. I'm running some f2's I made from them outside but tbh the bx line was the closest I've found so far in seed but not as good as that cut I had.

Golden Tree you got any plant pics of that green pheno? That description perked me right up. Anyone who has had a taste of that special pheno knows the addiction of the hunt. It never ends.

I don't think it was just one plant. It was a seed line, which he was able to recreate (perhaps not duplicate) using siblings or half siblings. The recipe is in his head. Even if he lost the original parents he kept multiple seed lots, meaning he could still offer something extremely close. IMO/IME his current Blueberry is exceptional.

In this day and age its becoming harder to trust any seed banks most are only in it for the money sure they have purposely miss labeled seeds just for a sale .
Its all about money today,,
BB is a great strain only problem is the sativa side and long flowering times Personally there are much better strains out there for what its worth
I think one can find a decent BB from jordan of the islands

Some strains produce nothing but junk with synthetic nutes. I once grew out two strawberry cough plants outdoors, one with hydro nutes, the other plant was planted directly in the ground and recived nothing but plain water. The potted plant tasted like hay with a slight weed taste. The soil plant on the other hand was fruity tasting and about ten times more desireable. If I hadn't grown them myself I probably would have guessed that they were different strains.

I honestly do not know how anyone would smell hay i have chopped plants and left them in the back of pick up truck for weeks never did they smell like HAY lol have chopped and dried pretty much anywhere
Nope no Hay smell
i kinda chuckle when someone says it smells like hay
Cause i have dried Tons of weed never smelling HAY ever

I suspect its a disease. I hear it a lot. People always blame the breeder. Reason: I had chronic cuts turn hay. We are talkin, leave out on the shelf for months and they still have flavor and taste while some runs turn to hay as soon as they dry. Its possibly some kind of bacteria that digests terpenes or something that stops the normal terps from forming in the first place. The hay stuff usually seems ok when you first pick it, so I'm not sure. I've never done a terp test on em as I assumed it wasn't worth proving they were low.

I bought a ten pack of BB from dutch passion and split with a couple buddies. I found three females and my buddy 1. Of my two one was a twisted leaf mutant that grew so slowly and was very disease and pest prone but she was fire. Candy blueberry taste, very potent, made a shit ton of keif and had nice coloration.

I've tried dutch passion a few times since and the blueberry is nothing like the old pack. Oh well plenty of bomb stuff out now either way.

I recently ordered 3 packs of regular seeds from Dutch Passion and unfortunately it was the worst seed order ever. Most of the Orange Hill Special and Durban Poison did not germinate, the seedlings that came up were weak and highly variable.

The other pack was White Widow and at least 6 of 10 of those germinated and gave good plants. But overall the germ rates and quality was the worst I've seen, I'm sorry to say. I routinely get 100% germination out of my own seeds that are 10-15 years old, I'd be embarrassed to even give away seeds with 30% germination rate.

Personally I'm only ordering from Regular-only seed banks now - for example TGA and Dynasty. I suspect that companies focusing on feminzed and autoflower quickly degenerate to the lowest common denominator: making money.

Anybody here grown out Seedsman's BB version?

I have an old school blueberry sativa cut that is absolutely insane. I'd love to find a nice smelly indica pheno to cross it with...

Only thing that bothers me about the seedsman version is the lack of transparency about what's in it. If you saw their thread posted here they said it was outcrossed. An outcross is by definition a breeding using a different strain. Then they contradicted that saying it was only blueberry used, so I asked what bb lines did they use and they replied (purple thai x afghan) x (thai x afghan) which is a vague reply if I ever saw one.

So did they attempt to recreate bb using those lines or was it just a jerkoff reply regurgitating back to me the lines that make up blueberry? I suspect the latter which is disappointing. Jtrich either is unable to or refuses to answer a very simple question about the seed he's offering. Too many unknowns with seedsman and their bb line. I like to know what I'm growing.
