And here's a pic of soom done with a 15 minute whip. It bonded without pressure and was noticeaably better. Still lots of impurities, but better. Sorry, I have no pics of any 3 minute whip product.

well alrighty then! When I was in Amsterdam a few yrs ago I failed to take the opportunity to smoke the good hash Been there? well walking around at night, stoned, all the streets look the same . . . . kinda freaky!!

the Black Afghanistan was very spicey, smooth is this what I can expect from a dry sieve? Bags finally arrive . . . pick up ice tomorrow, tehn I'll do a run & we'll see . . .

Ok I spent a lot of time cleaning this thread up because of all the "school girl bickering " ... ive been trimming most the day and am tired, and really dont want to have to see my hard work go for nothing .. ,so if I see anymore arguing in here .. right or wrong .. your going to get time off. Soooo, the dry ice worked really smooth, rather intense for a bit, lol . . . . smoked some of the Trainwreck/Iranian/Blueberry mix last night; was FULLY baked.

have yet to press . . . . must be about 10 grams each . . . nicely spicy . . . Is the extra effort worth it to: shatter, oil, etc? ya can only get sooo medicated

I've tried dry ice hash making and thought the end product wasn't as good as dry sift or bubble. You get more end product, but it is of lower quality compared to the other two methods, imho.

Of course, dry sift gets you terrible yields of top quality smokables. It all depends on what you're looking for.

Fresh frozen popcorn nugs can make some excellent bubble (depending on the strain) and seems to be a good balance between quantity and quality...at least in my opinion.

6g return from 50g of HSD "A" bud. My best result yet. There's 4 grades in the batch, 3 min, 10 min, 15 min and bottom bag. The bottom bag is the lowest quality and won't quite hand press into a worm for the center of my reefer. That's the end of my HSD stash so next on the block will be wifi.................

10 minutes? Lol.

Even that's too long if you are looking for strictly quality.

Run it for 3 or 4 minutes by hand and yank 'em.

Do it again on the 2nd run for 10mins.

You can extract resin from leaf by touching it gently, you certainly do not need 10 minutes when entire bags of ice are involved.

i agree, you can always run it again... and again if needed/wanted but that first run should be for quality full melt goodness. i prefer ice water to dry ice.

I love the ease of dry ice extraction! I use the keif type product to make canna butter and top bowls. Post any questions I might be able to help with. Remember not to waste your trim material! I have made some short videos on the process to help here:

"kief-type product" just doesn't sound right.. sounds like some sort of chemical extract haha.
