No machine all by hand lolDamn ya got that shit planted like some corn lol
The good thing about that is even if not correct you still remember...This next pic was taken the year before at the end of May 1987...It may be just a small token of what was going on but I planted 300 seedlings in there at the beginning of May...didn't know much about sexing them before hand so it was everybody in the pool...Long story short... We ended up with 162 girls all between 9-12 ft. tall...the biggest bummer was we got ripped...went in took the best of the rest and left the smaller plants to get bigger...Then got ripped a second time before a group of us went in and harvested the rest...All the prized colas were gone...what was left was still a decent haul...We gave the helpers, there were 4 of them a huge contractors bag of bud each...and my partner in crime and I took home 20 lbs. each after dried...I bet...and I am not the betting kind...if I took a guess there was probably over a couple hundred elbows out there all said and done View attachment 18828698

She’s kinda slow to recover from topping, so I try to do any topping no sooner than 2 weeks from the flip. I like her to be growing pretty vigorously right when I flower. So i try to make sure she’s fully healed before flipping.Hey VP a question for ya about Trop. Cherry...Since I haven't grown her out yet, I remember you saying topping her early she doesn't like it and to leave her be until she really stars to grow...So if I top her just before flip do you think that would be OK? Because they are starting to bust loose
What about plants that love to stretch like SmackerzI don't like topping right before flowering as it causes the flowers to be small and not stack well. Letting topped plants recover produces better results IMO.
Any plant that loves to stretch should be topped to keep her manageable. I have some haze hybrids in flower now that got topped multiple times, to train into bushes. Some plants lose vigor if topped to many times so be careful. I'll wait for any topped nodes to grow out 2-3" before flowering. What about plants that love to stretch like Smackerz
That’s my plan…you’ll know when I flip cuz the scrog won’t be hard to ignoreAny plant that loves to stretch should be topped to keep her manageable. You got it brother…but it seem so you know tortuous ha ha…btw 90 Proof plays the 70’s if you like that era…60’s and 70‘s were my favorites just simply because I was young, dumb and full of cum… and there was no other way…maybe there was but probably not as much funI have never had any luck topping at flip. Severe bending if height becomes an issue.
