Because they came up all on their own from last year's seeds...the dill is way ahead of the pickling cukes...I do see some flowers and a couple of baby pickles...not too long b4 I can make some fermented hot kosher dill pickles

Pretty easy trimming of MAC1...1.3lbs. wet weight went into freezer off 1 plant...I'm thinking about 75% or thereabouts

of that is water weight*

So today was too hot to do anything but trim…tonight was band practice and we auditioned a new bass player…our current bass player wants to do something else after October so we are gladly obliging him…btw the new guy passed the audition…awesome bass player…what else is amazing is that he lives 2 miles from my door…who knew… and he smokes weed!!!! I showed my pictures of MAC1 and he was floored…probably gonna be another custy…he’s been traveling 25 miles to the Indian Rez to score…my weed’s better, closer and cheaper…sweet trifecta

Had a few first tomatoes come in and boy how I've missed homegrown tomatoes. First early aren't always the best but these came out great, even with all the rain. Very traditional old time tomato flavor yeehaw!

Thanks…The veggie garden is taken off…I’m with ya on that…I’ve been slicing up some romas I got in a 5 pack from Wegmann’s…nice maters but their not homegrown…Were they an heirloom variety?
