Yeah...macro mode is usually needed to take the up close shots.
There are alot more important things in life than buying a good digi-cam so you can show off your weed better to your buddies on ICmag though :biglaugh:

Your pics are decent enough for us to know you're doing a great job with your plants

Yes :woohoo: Spring is finally upon us. Now comes the battle with the rising RH

I think stripping fans is a judgement call. If you need to increase light to an area badly, and increase airflow for the benefit of the plant, then by all means it is benefitting.
I'm sure plants outdoors lose fans to animals brushing up against and storms.

A few days late

A few days late

Little bit of a hectic week so I am a bit late from my usual post day, but I have been around reading posts, just never got around to taking any pics. So nothing to talk about. But I took some pics yesterday morning.

Here is my usual first shot, a little lower than I normally shoot it, but I like the look here. I have been chopping off some fan leaves as I see fit, trying to leave a few of the leaves that are the first fan leaves ever for the plant, I figure they are an integrated part of the plant as it is the first part ever of the plant. But I think I topped them too many times in veg, as there are lots of popcorn buds, not an issue for me, you learn as you grow. I am grabbing two of those MOMs I have transplanted into bigger pots (kitty litter buckets). Those are going straight in after these finish. I will be LST ing those, so every bud site is even. Then I am going to grow the shit out of them.

Another angle, nevermind the camera strap in the top of the pic. I know that we all take pics high.

Here is a top of one in the middle of the box, they dont look very impressive from top, but you can see how nice the green is in there, no deformaties at all, no spots, not curling, pretty much set it and forget it with this grow.

As you can see by my hand I am actually not a starvin African kid.

TML. Yeah I am not in a rush to run out and get a new cam, As much as I would love some sweet bud porn of my own, I am not that worried about it. I would rather but a new video card, or at least get a down payment on one.

B/R Happy belated 4 20 to you bro. I did not log on/on 420 amazingly.

Our trip outside

Our trip outside

Well since It was actually a sunny warm day, I decided to let the plants have some natural light for a day. So I have a early update. I took some pics with my camera phone.

All 6 of my flowering plants hanging out on a sunny day. Hit about 20 today, was a nice change from the 5 to 8 degree rain i have been seeing.

I think my phone takes better pictures than my regular cam, but you can actually see the crystals packing it on there. I am at 5 weeks, starting to see some seriously nice looking sticky.

So the buds don't appear to be setting any length records but they are turning bulbous in shape, but covered in white crystal.

ty guys, They are looking nice.

I actually killed one of my vegging plants yesterday, as I was running out of room for them, in that box.
So that leaves me with three vegging plants, two very large ones going into flower as soon as there is space

Hey TML.

Well I was not really expecting that one to really make it from the start as it was one of my test plants with the recycled soil. So I decided to cut my plant down and concentrate on the 2 that I am going to flower next.

I think I enjoyed the sun more than the plants did, but I have a short window in my backyard that I can have the plants out and still keep them incognito and have sun, about 3 hours so I sat next to them for a few hours, and soaked it in with them. I am kind of getting anxious to see what I end up with, with under 4 weeks remaining. Like watching a kettle boil.

I will be back with some updates soon

Awsome grow show man, I really enjoyed the pictures of the plants out in the backyard they just look so amazing under the natural light. Blubonic is defenitly on my list of strains I would love to try but the price tag is holding me back haha. Anyways I will defenitly be stopping back in to see the end results of this.

TY smokinglass. I am really happy with the results as far. I have just about 3 to 4 weeks left, and I am waiting anxiously for them to start packing it on. They should be some top notch smoke. I will be growing the blubonic all summer as I have lots of genetics left.

I have yet to pay anything for my grows, I have a really good friend that takes care of me, and gives me stuff when I need it. So I really have no idea, how much blubonic costs. Check back soon I will have some more updates

A pic from this morning as the artifical sun suddenly arose. All looking good here

Estimated chop date May 21.

Looking Good! the structure of the plant is very unique. Blubonic costs 120$ normally somtimes the bay reduces it to 80$ but i mean still even 80$ is alot for me when there are so many hundreds of strains. Next week they should really start packing it on I cant wait Defenitly looking forward to seeing the bud structure. Take Care and Stay Safe.

Change of pace here. I thought I would start off the veggies before the meat.
I have transplanted the two plants that are in line to be flowered, both in about 4 gallon containers and looking very healthy. I am waiting another week or so, then I am going to start training the big ones a bit and expose every bud site, veg it for two weeks like that and then under the lights they go.

Here is the veg box. Back left that plants has so many preflowers I would have thought she had starting budding already. I have really high hopes for that 1. . Back right is very bushy, quite tall you will see.

That is the one one the right. This is going to be crazy how many sites I am going to get, these plants are growing like champs, very very healthy.

Same plant here.Back left.

A small bit of meat tonight, I was having a rough time getting pics I liked of the buds but they are in my gallery if you are interested. But everything is progressing nicely, no leave yellowing yet, they are going to get probably one more feeding, and then I will flush them well. The crystals on these plants is great, I cannot wait to try and make some hash with the clippings.

And for you Mr smoking glass, I will try and get some bud shots for you. All I can tell you is they are staying stocky, height is really not happening, but the buds are just kind of getting fat. It is starting to give off an aroma, not sure if it is blueberries, as I have never been in a field of nothing but blueberries, but it does not have that usual skunk smell that pot has. The one thing I have learned about these gals, is that I need thicker stems, as the buds are getting too heavy for the stems, have alot of droopers.

Just under 2 weeks to go

Just under 2 weeks to go

Well as part 1 of my grow is ending, I am preparing myself for part 2. I have learned alot this grow, mainly what not to do. I was cutting the plants way to any times in veg, so I was left with a mess of bud sites, instead of concentrating on a few bud sites. Also I should have vegged them a bit longer than I did, the buds are so heavy they are falling down due to the stems not being strong enough to hold them up.

They are beautiful, I wish that you could see the crystals on them, it is everywhere and sticky. I am starting to see some yellowing of the fan leaves now as I stopped feeding them nutes and we are using straight water now.
The tester plant I used in recycled soil has given me lots of ideas as it is very short bud a bud growing machine, what is there is budding. Short and thick.

With the temp increase the last few days in my area, I had to raise the light a bit, as my canopy temps were getting really high. But at least the RH is dropping and under control again.

Here is the veg room, just growing away.

This plant I am most excited about, I have been LST this plant. It has about 24 bud sites now. I am going for a bonsai style on this plant. It is very well rooted and very very healthy.

It will be taking up the majority of the flower room all by itself, it has a canopy that is almost 36 inches wide and all the bud sites are again staring at the lights, I am going to be growing the crap out of this girl. Make sure you come back to check out the progress of this one.

This plant is amazing me, it has 6 main colas all going straight up, and preflowers the length of the colas. I am going to tie the colas a bit apart soon to allow better light penetration just a bit lower, I am hoping for 6 monster buds from this girl, she is more than ready to flower, I might drop her in the room a bit sooner than I had hoped, just to get her started. I will be using a bit of Bud blood to get them started.

Last but not least, my clone, soon to be a mom of future generations, I had some issues transplanting this to a bigger pot, but it looks like it is back on track.

Check back soon, it is going to get wild in here.

You rarely hear people complain as the spring temps rise :biglaugh: except for us growers!
The growroom is always so much more maintainable in winter.

Your veg box looks alot like mine :yoinks:

Growing wild indeed...you have a beautiful jungle :canabis:

Camera happy today

Camera happy today

Well i was out checking on the girls, making sure they were ready for lights out. And I decided to try and get some nice pics. I like these, I think they turned out well. It will give you a better understanding on the shape of these buds.

Well that is about it, some of these are higher resolution, so you can make out the buds somewhat ok.

The tall one in the back is the new addition this morning

Looking good DrDog. You obviously have a very generous, talented and handsome supplier giving you your blubonic clones for free. Wanna hook me up with one of those bad boys sometime before your July break. Whole post looking good D., hopefully the fininshed product will be too.
