Dr is in Da house 5 plant scrog

D

DHF

i couldn't agree more since switching last 2 years to totes my yields per plant literally went from 4 - 6 oz plant to 10 - 15 0z its so much cleaner. and watering/ feeding is perfect never worrying about salt build up , water more but less if yea catch my drift 3 - 4 days water then 3 -4 days feed i have never seen issues yet and YES i don't have any drains in them
Bottom line root mass = yields
I am a firm believer with proper training, and doing scrog which gives you one even canopy
I Here this once you go vert you never revert lol , i would bet money that if a vert grower????
went the route i grow he would re vert back to horizontal in a heart beat specially after seeing all consistent sized nugs all around, and allot of them to boot
I`d bet you`re wrong and .......sideways canopies with bare bulbs compared to reflected light up , out , and back down to the plants finally is at best apples and oranges in comparison so.....

We agree to disagree....Yield and consistent pulls run after run come from strain dialage , proper watts per sq ft , and environment being optimum.....so.....

Don`t post absolutes and confuse newer growers into thinking 1 way is the ultimate way to roll......Your shit looks good dewd , but it ain`t the be all end all wayta do shit just cuz you say it`s so...

Just tryin to give credence to you callin bullshit on vertical bare bulb setups when you have no clue......I`m just sayin....

How long did you veg those big ass tote plants "in dirt" to get em where they are at this point in the game DF.....Let`s not cloud the issues as far as grow setups and howta attain dialage goes cuz you`re waaaaay behind on vegtime and crop finishes guaranteed compared to dialed coco dtw or passive hydro setups like the PPK....ALL killin it with bare bulbs and the sideways lumens blastin......

I didn`t come here to start shit like you did with my posts in vert forums , but I can assure you I can set EVERYONE here straight on what works either horizontally OR vertically depending on which setup each and every grower chooses to jump head first into.....

Doggin out 1 setup compared to another just shows your level of maturity and prejudice cuz you have no clue about anything other than what you`ve managed to get by with and work for you.......

And for the record....I`ve NEVER put down horizontal setups cuz each grow has it`s own parameters to deal with as far as environment and watts per sq ft is concerned......so.....

Leave the comments bout turnin vert growers back into flat growers at the door , cuz I assure yas NOBODY I convinced to run bare bulbs hangin for the perfect sideways canopy will pay 1 ounce of attention to your biased bullshit....that said.....

Garden looks good...but how long did it take it to get there in real time start to finish compared to faster coco or passive hydro setups...that said again...Don`t fuck with shit you don`t understand and it`s all good.......Stay in your own lil world and try and help folks........that`s what it `s all about....helpin folks grow and do better.......

That`s what I do.......

DHF......:ying:.......

Well to be honest with my grow being 3 k 12 plants and achieving 7- 9 pounds dry from 12 plants would love to see 12 plant vert grow compare especially 12 plants and 3 k with only 5 week veg
not to worried really not going to happen light is always better from a point source and with 95 percent reflectiveness back onto plants i am not worried about lower larf but nice quality buds , i got some new genetics coming clones 750 - 850 grams per m2
Can;t wait to get them going
Vert got its status when Heath pulled some ridiculous numbers which have never bin duplicated one begins to wonder??? i call it BS but that is just me i guess and lets not forget he grew critical mass
Verts are good for small area's more light is needed stadium grows WTF is that growing ????? when looking at big grow op\s you see them growing in 4" pots like in stadium grows hahahah no there 50 gallon why ??? root mass indicates yield more food uptake hell most will admit if they want plant count the will fire up rooms lol
but if you insist lets look at threads that smoke vert to shit:thank you::thank you::laughing:

got new genetics coming critical mass clones Superlemon haze, and Big bang all over 700 grams per m2 going to make them 1700 grams per m2

SO well stated DHF! DeFever will never ever think anybody else methods work anything close to as good as his. Even D9's 22 oz verticals will not be accepted. After all, this guy owns a garden center! He knows everything!

Like for example, flower day period starts on day one of 12/12? Yet every seed producer/seller/vendor defines flower period when sexing is show AFTER flipping to 12/12. Sex will show commonly 5-12 days after flipping to 12/12. A seven week strain will actually be 55-61 days AFTER flip! *(not even counting "range" 7-9 weeks) But our dear Drfever defines flowering as day one of 12/12?

Your statement about maturity is the most dead on statement in this entire thread imo.

Worse though is the shit he stirred up in the defoliation thread. Ultimately the * mods closed a thread with 4k posts, and 1/2 million views, rather than deal with the real issue of ego's and know it alls.

DHF, I don't do PPK, but man I have ULTIMATE respect for it! And even more respect for those like you, D9, and others sharing it with us.

btw, have we EVER even seen the actual results and numbers DrFever claims he will get? Not ONCE!

DrFever links us above to jacks Aptus grow. He has a whole following of people using some $660 per LITER nutrient claiming to be the end all be all of nutrient.

To quote the owner of a nutrient company, a guy with a masters degree in plant botany and forrestry (or whatever it's called) about Aptus Fasilitator:

Dude...that stuff is just potassium silicate and boron and a little molybdenum lol

I mean that it is a well known fact that silica is good for helping plants cope with stress, boron at high levels kills some pathogens and molybdenum just does what he is describing...these are normal processes with the plant that certain nutrients are responsible for. It is just written in a way that is total hype and marketing....

Mind you I am no botanist, nor chemist. And I don't know what ratios are used in the aptus, nor what is optimal. But I did find this on the cost of potassium silicate:

Potassium Silicate one pound, 32% K2O 52.8% SiO2
$12.00

This is a 1.6 weight ratio hydrous potassium silicate powder with 32% K20 and 52.8% SiO2 and 14.8% H2O.

.7 grams in one gallon of water yeilds 98ppm SiO2 or 46ppm Si, and 49ppm K.

What's the saying? A sucker born every minute.

Oh boy bassy i see your still upset over defoilating thread huh hahaha dude

Some things you should learn about flowering many do count from flipping to 12 /12 in reality we use it as a marker point and so do the breeders
trichs dictate when plants are done

Quote btw, have we EVER even seen the actual results and numbers DrFever claims he will get? Not ONCE! ok there of course i posted them i did 5 plants 4.75 pound harvest as your not probably aware when posting many pictures your storage gets full so pics have to be deleted for new ones to come on
I am sure many members have seen my results so whats your point ????

DrFever links us above to jacks Aptus grow. He has a whole following of people using some $660 per LITER nutrient claiming to be the end all be all of nutrient.

dude not all of us still live in mom and dads basement 660 for nutrients is nothing comparing it to more pound harvests ???? actually i bet the guy makes a huge profit
Again whats your point ????
and finally getting to vert Yes Vert does work and you probbly see gains ?? but again light difuses much quicker vert that is why so many have to run more power , lower bud sites do form but in reality are much smaller. small buds are just that small buds and we must not forget when that guy is handing out 10 - 20 - 50 100k in cash for that weed he wants primo buds cause you are forgetting something really important here that weed will go thru 10 hands before its smoked
and by that time that small bud is SHAKE in that bag
You mention D9's 8 - 10 week veg plants also 12 k so whats is your point ???? the guy is growing great , worry about how you grow and be happy

You ever wonder why???? so many good growers don;t bother posting threads or journals??????
cause of people like you.
Worry about your sick looking plants read study and learn cause it appears you got a long way to go

The SLH from greenhouse is an awesome plant. Great smell, high and yield. Think she was best yielding ever for me. But that will grow huge long donkey dick buds. Just beware as she took me by surprise. Can't wait to see!

Yup, I second the motion on the SLH. Keep in mind it's gonna run almost 10 weeks in flower.FiveLeggedGoat did a good thread on it.

For sure man really looking forward as well
that big bang looks promising as well

I know not all of the Doc's pics are up on his thread as he deletes them as he adds more. But let me tell you, I followed his thread from when I use to just lurk around here... His grows are as legit as I've seen on this forum! Very well documented with pics(at that time:biggrin:) I can honestly say I don't think I've seen too many people on this forum duplicate what he has done with soo little...

Ya maybe the Doc likes to stir some shit up on the Vertical Threads, but from what I've seen he is pretty honest about his grows and doesn't sling any shit.... That can't be said for everyone else on this forum. To achieve 4.75 lbs from 5 plants under 2 lights, with no a/c, no air exchange and only a dehumidifier and a humidifier is pretty damn impressive!

I can only imagine this grow with 3 lights will produce the same number or better considering he's actually running air exchange, co2 and etc....

I've spoken with the Doc many a times and let me tell you he is very knowledgable. Any questions I've had he's known the answers to and has been spot on on everytime! He's been a wealth of knowledge for me and is making my first ever grow a smooth painless learning curve helping me every step of the way.

Heck do to power limitations and plant count I based my grow off his 5x15 scrog 12 plants. This keeps me well under my plant count and I should have no problems producing the medicine I need.:tiphat:

Here is a few sample pics of my setup that the Doc helped me with plus a few touches of my own like the Iponic 600 controller:woohoo:

Just looked at what my room is doing by looking at my phone and didn't have to leave the comfort of my own chair:laughing: As you can see by the humidity I'm still waiting for my humidifier to show up!!!!:wallbash: Everything else is running perfectly....

Come join my thread if you like to see the latest updates. And lets try not to clutter this great thread with useless banter!

If someone is spending the money to buy a controller they're stupid to not buy the Iponic 600. It's easily worth double what they charge for it. EASILY!!! I'd venture to say one of the best bang for bucks in the growing industry right now.:)

Hook yourself up with a little Christmas present Doc, you deserve it:biggrin:

Wow that is some great uh debate in the thread... I'd love to give hydro a go - once I have a way to control fluid temps. Summer in my room means its as warm as ambient in the water.. Or worse with a fluid pump in the bucket I bet. For me, plant count counts. I'd love flip rooms, but that means two AC's, etc. Or maybe a good lung room setup. I have many months to think about that, likely 1.5yrs or so until I can properly build and install a minisplit..
