^^ that's very good to know. I may have to pick up some dr grinspoon and destroyer beans. I wonder how many phenos the grinspoon has? may need to get 2 plus packs?

think with 2 u will be fine.
got the freak pheno out of one so get a 2. one to be sure.

the others look more or less same. one is fatter, one has more resin,....

by the way
found this thread

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=196211

and the bud structure of the plant at page 1-4 reminds me of dr grinspoon

so my vote goes out to panama red in the mix or that it might be senor garcia

sorry can´t tell u about the lanky one

didn´t cut anything of that plant till now.

the 2 i cut first didn´t tast realy intensiv, most herbal and also lill catpiss and citrus-aroma.
the smell is catpiss dominant with lill citrus undertone(bt 89 has more).

i think the taste(herbal dominance) goes out to me because of the overfeeding and starving in the end.

Dr grinspoon bt 85

no more "stretch", hardly white hair think she will be ready soon :woohoo:
when i got my microscope running i´ll check trichomes to be sure.

handpicked the seed few days ago because they start to fall out of their covers, left a few not so developed but i think this should be 50+ seeds.
the tested seedcovers didn´t taste special except herbal but the high was amazing. smoked whole day long so it´s hard to descripe for me but the first bowl(+tobaco) let me glide back on my couch with a big smile an my face

not to impressed with the bud structure on that bt94 seems to stretched out, but maybe thats becouse its been seeded, i have 7 grinspoons in flower on about 20 + days.......... only 1 is showing 'grindspoon' like characteristics so far, altho another 2 possibly could, ill keep you posted on what i get

My two grinspoons don't have what I've been calling "nevills haze pheno" which is too bad but good at the same time. But technically the genetic trait that produces that may be locked away inside the tigher bud structured plants which means it might show up later during breeding, but not as prevalently as the originals.

This grow helped me out a lot, thank you. I'm 3 weeks in and they just stopped stretching. Key for me is finding out what the best height to start flower is for them. Too soon and they don't stretch, too late and you run out of room.

sorry for the long break but i was a little disappointed.
after trimm there was not much "bud" anymore

it has a nice uplifting effect but not that superstrong that i expected. the taste is like burned rubber.
dont like to trimm the whole plant so most of it goes to make bho

here one "budshot"

...seems to stretched out, but maybe thats becouse its been seeded,...

she was tretchy before but there was dev. more stretch after the pollination.

there was also more resin visible on the seeded buds and they were dev bigger.

maybe i try to pollinate as much as i can on my next try.

what light were you using? they tend to stretch even more when you're using red light for flowering. you should use blue light for flowering when seeding.

for this grow i used 400w hps light.

the cut is gone but i still have to test dr grinspoonXpanama seeds
i´m thinking to mix cdm with hps for that grow.

My limited experience:

I had a Neville's Haze look like this once. I grew it two times. The first time I grew it, I let it go really long, 18 weeks. I was hoping it would suddenly push out a whole bunch of calyxes and become "buds" at the last minute. It never did. One day I was looking at it, and it looked done. Every singe pistil was dead, and calyxes were swollen. It was the best pot I ever smoked, and I've been smoking for 47 years. I've had almost all the great ones.

I grew it a second time, but got tricky. I reduced the hours of light from 11 to 10, and shaved off a couple of weeks of flowering time. It looked done also. It turned out below average in potency and quality.

My plan was to find something really good to cross it to. Something that might pick up the extreme potency and quality, while giving it just minimal buds. I searched for many years, and never found anything even vaguely close or worthy of the cross. One day I realized I was maintaining a cutting for over 4 years that I never flowered. I killed it.

Later, I regretted it. I did cross it to something else, and back cross it to itself, and I still have some seeds. I grew most of those and never got lucky to grow in the correct way, or the genetics combined in a way where it is not expressing the killer product. I'm still searching for something close to that quality. It has been over a decade searching for trip weed. See link below. I still have not found it, but I am getting closer. I regret killing that cutting. It would have been worthwhile to grow it, even if only every few years, just to experience that kind of quality and potency.

The bottom line lessons for me:

It is very difficult and touchy to grow these exotics correctly. They are not WLD hash types that turn out good no matter how I grow them.

Be very careful of what you decide to cull. Some are once in a lifetime. They may not be easy like WLD, but hash plants never even come close in quality or potency to these exotic NLD type plants.

war der perlen pheno bei der dr. grinspoon nicht dabei? erinnerst du dich evtl. noch an den turn zurück? würdest sie nochmals growen.

If i have time and space i will grow them again. The result was not as strong as expected. But this was my fault, overfeed at the start and starved at the end.

Wenn ich zeit und platz habe werd ich die sicher nochmal growen. Das ergebnis war halt nicht so stark wie erwartet. War aber auch meine schuld, überdüngt am anfang und am ende halb verhungert.
