i just finished another run of greenthumb's bubba og and it is the FIRE! too potent for some people and that bubba taste is amazing. yield is better than bubba or og.
i've bought several strains from them and as long as the genetics are as good as they are i don't care about the price

I read the story behind Dr.G and how he got his 13, its the stories legends are made of.Stop whining about the price of his seeds if you wanna buy them do and if you don't dont. I have some G13 coming from him in couple dayz. So what if the oldfuka cranky I call that charisma.

For those bashing doc, I'll say a few things, but first off let me say, I run gear from loompa farms, gage green, bodhi, karma, cbg, ace seeds, sin city, mr nice, cvs, gdp seeds, og raskal, mota, hazeman and a few others. That said, I got a pheno from docs endless sky, that was pure fire, the best bud IVe smoked, and I've been burning for 18 plus years, I lived in cali for years and have been to amsterdamn. My second favorite strain ever was docs flook juice aka endless sky x big purps, his big purps was top 5 too.. His endless Smelled like I was in a field of exotic flowers walking on crushed fresh fruit. The endless sky taste was exactly like the aroma, the pheno yielded 5 zips, and was 10/10 potency and taste wise. I ran 2 packs of endless to find that pheno, and there was definitely some bunk phenos, but what people don't realize is endless is probably the most finicky strain I've ever run, and is not, I repeat not for beginners or even intermediate growers, hence the bad grow reports. Also doc never lost any of his endless sky parents, that's a rumor. And docs s1s are selfed naturally, he doesn't use sts spray. I've run 2 packs of his chem 4 which was fire, got 1 bad pheno and 2 no sprouts out of 20, practically the same with his cheese and trainwreck. His og and bubba are fire, didn't like the oh zone but I wasn't as experienced and might have taken them early, had issues with c99 potency but tasted amazing, like sugar dipped pineapples. Ran a pack of dope, wasn't a big fan, his ECSD is fire and very close to the original. The matanuska gave me a lot of males. smoked his bubba og and is def one of his current top 5 strains. So people trashing doc who haven't even run his gear or popped 1-2 packs, just stop. After years of running doc his prices caused me to try other breeders but there will always be some doc gear around me and mine.
I don't have experience with Dr Greenthumb, but he is the only source of ECSD S1s? or not? ECSD is one of the last elite strains I must acquire! 165$ for 5 seeds is pretty rough.
Considering the known intersex problems in ECSD, many packs might be required to work out the intersex. To grow 50 females would cost 1650$? Fuck that, especially for an S1! There was no fucking selection involved, no real breeding at all! S1s should be cheap seeds! I would pay highly for the ECSD clone maybe, but for some seeds, I think not.

All u need is 2 packs of ECSD and u will def find a keeper, you will most likely find it in a 5 pack but to be sure go with two. And u get 6 beans in his 5 packs. As far as the ECSD and herms I've yet to find a herm from any of the hundreds of times I've run his s1s or any of his strains for that matter.
Ill probably pass on the Dr Greenthumb seeds. I will save my money for if I find the ECSD clone. I am only about 15 hours drive from NY, I am sure she is around.

his S1 approach doesn't guarantee crap.... I got suckered into spending the big $$ on his bubba OG S1. I got nothing but garbage ... contacted him and he truly didn't give a shit. Dr. G is a jerk and a "$100 per seed ripoff".
I tested 3 phenos of the ECSD from seed for a friend. I cannot comment on the structure or the yield, as I got small buds, but the taste was amazing on 2 of the 3. One was snappy oG KUsh flavor, and the other much more indica, I cannot characterize, but I loved it. Loved em both, and I am a tough crowd.
You can already find seeds at these kind of prices if you know where to look
In fact, if you are part of the right community (where people give and share freely) you'll find (as I have found) that you rarely if ever have to pay for any seeds. And I'm not talking about somewhere where everything has been legalized!

The problem, IMO, is that sometimes you don't. And when you don't, you've not only lost $200 or more, you run into a jerk on the stick who calls you a bad grower and sends his lackey's online to harass and insult you. F that guy. No wonder he's trying to sell his seed business .... pity the fool that tries to do business with him.
He is selling the seed company? Where did you learn this? What is the asking price? Lots of good genetics, but the name isn't in great standing! I'm guessing he senses once legal pot comes, his current business model will fail.

Somethings up, I would be surprised if any line of the planet didn't have a couple hermie plants out of a hundred seeds! Hermies are in most lines. Most people are just not observant, and many hermies do not produce seeds every crop. Close attention must be paid. Most lines contain at least some intersex in my experience.
I'd be more than surprised. I'd be absofuckinglutely amazed if he grew hundreds of packets and found no hermies. This Dr.Greenthumb dude sounds like a god or something... we should be paying him more than our money.. we should be paying homage

I think that's a good ball park figure seeing as how "hundreds" is quite vague.
I also think Dr.Greenthing owes blis a personal debt of gratitude, because despite being "guaranteed a keeper in 5" he kept buying and buying and buying and buying and buying... and buying...more and more seeds... til he had spent the value of a small house on greenfinger's seeds... Even when people laughed at him for losing all his keepers time after time

he was caught out few years ago on gs i think for using shill/puppet accounts. in my own experience i know for a 100% fact that he does it - iran auto flowers was called iranian short season- he had multiple accounts posting grows claiming to be irish, talking to them all and they all spouted shit, they were posting pics with plants in the background that didnt grow here and swore blind that they actually had bales of promix send over here......fucking idiot.
