well im sure that lawrence will fit your lifestyle quite nicely.. everyone is great there and gotta love when you get to blaze with rush, chalmers, and arthur(actually looked at buddys plants with rush!).. you grow the bomb and end up at the right place and bam.. Go KU! o yea and check out burrito king! and if you dont already have the convenience.. dollar double cheese burgers ( o yea!)

You are doing so rediculously well for a first timer (or anybody period). She's lookin' mighty fine!

The last pictures are almost 2 weeks old i'm looking forward to seeing how much its progessed. She looked to have a bit more than a month left in her though so hopefully she's all hairy and sticky by now.

The most reliable way to see if your plant is ready to harvest is to inspect the trichomes...

RadioShack sells a 60-100x pocket microscope for $10 US. Just trim a sweetleaf (one covered in trichomes, sticking out from the bud itself) and put it under the scope, and you'll know exactly how far along your plants are.

Pistils (hairs) come and go regularly. They aren't an accurate method of determining your plant's harvest date, as they are continually replaced by the flowering plant.

Is a microscope necessary? Is there any way to tell readiness by eye?

Also, Douche, I have decided to try hydro next.. What was your feeding schedule like, opinions on nutes, would you do something differently next time?

Looking good! I also have a PC grow, but in soil this time. I did the Hydro setup the same as you I did last grow. I would start them on HALF of 1/4 strength nutes until they start growing roots into the RES. then UP it to 1/4...if it seems like to much to them, then go back down a few days. Just learn to read your plants, and they will tell you if your feeding them right! BTW I had to switch my RES once a week early on, then in FLOWER changed it every 2 days, topping in between changes. Toward the end of flower, they will be driniking ALOT of that water, so check daily and refill as needed! So far so good though! Keep it up.

PS, to get the most out of that space you should CLONE which ever one is female, and place 2 new clones in that same setup!

And if you ever need help, PM me (I hang out in the MICRO forum)

I would love to know about being able to see the trichs too.

I started on 1/4 strength nutes, and then went to half, and then 3/4. I never made it to full strength. I can't really remember the time I started, but there was about two weeks between each strength of nutes. I used the BC series, and it worked excellent. There is actually a BC nutrient starter kit that is perfect for PC grows, because it comes with 3 liter bottles of each of the nutes, as well as smaller bottles of some complimentary nutes, like Thrive Alive, and Awesome Blossoms (which is why I believe my flowers are so dense). It is around 20 bucks at a hydro store, if you have one around you.
Next time I would definitely make sure that there is enough room above the plant so it doesnt hit the lights. mine is actually getting a redesign after I harvest and dry.

Just a quick question to make sure: I can use my PC to dry too right? I just need to keep the lights off?

Amazing Douche!!! Thats wats up..... This is a true inspirational micro grow... Kudos to you sir

Looks great, 2 weeks isn't that early. The efficiency of this grow is rediculous.

The PC case is fine to use for drying, the less ventilation the better though. Better to dry longer than shorter, at least if you're talking about a week or so timescale. Its easy to dry them in a day or 2 but you should try to stretch it out to about a week. Your plant is very small so it'll dry faster and you're going to want to protect it from drying that quickly.. the pc offers great protection!

How does she smell?

She smells excellent. Wonderful. I love it.
I am planning on drying it for 5-7 days. I want to do this right. :)
The less ventilation the better? I should turn my fans off?

Hey, sorry about the lack of an update thus far. It has been a long day. And by long, I mean around 36 hours long. And still going... ugh. See what happens when I am deprived of my medication?
I will try my heart out to get an update to you tomorrow.

d4.

Thats only bulky plant! It resembles a bag seed I grew out once. Hope to be seeing some updates :).

Hey i'm on hour 30..ish too!

Yeah you probably dont want too much if any ventilation, maybe the first day or 2 because thats obviously the time when it looses the most water.

I know there aren't recent pictures but i still think you may as well give her an extra couple days for good measure. She doesn't want to die. hahaha.

Finally, an update!

Finally, an update!

Sorry about the long wait. It has been stressful being dry. I finally got a dub tonight of some homegrown nug, and I smoked a tad too much. Lol, it feels wonderful.
Anyway, I love my plant. She looks so amazing.
