Hello Dubi,do you think double thai will be available again in the future?unfortunately I met ACE too late 😢😢😢

I myself am planning to reproduce seeds out of the 30 I have in storage. It will be probably 7 months or a year for this too happen. I will choose atleast 5+ of the best males and females in order to reproduce quality seeds. I have a few others from Ace and Dick Williams I plan too reproduce as well. Hope this helps.

I'm replicating it soon too though I only have a single male to work with which I'll be using to hit all the girls around September this year. We should compare work when the time comes :canabis:

Hi willydread,

There are no plans to release again Double Thai in short term.
I plan to work with the Haze and Thai hybrids in a few years, but it's not a priority now, we are busy reproducing new landraces and important catalogue strains that are out of stock.

It's curious, growers didn't paid much attention to the Haze Thai hybrids and Double Thai when they were released for the first time, guess most of them were afraid of their long flowering time, now lots of people request them when they are not available, crazy world! :chin:

Hi willydread,

All the Golden Tiger versions (both regular and fem) released from January 2015 onwards contain Double Thai.

Don't worry Dubi, Im still rocking Purple OTH x Thai. I got hundreds of beans between F4-F7. And its always in the garden... I guess since its out of stock and people request it, I should start a thread on it haha.

I second the love of Purple Haze x Thai. I crossed a male to a SAGE cutting I have, and have been sharing the results with many friends. Those genetics are very well appreciated by all those who have tried them.

Looking for more good Thai to blend in. Muh ha ha ha!

Hi Green :)

I'm glad to know you have continued with the Purple Haze Thai breeding for a few more generations. It's a very unique sativa hybrid if you are tropical sativa lover.

Aloha Dubi,
Yes indeed a tropical sativa lover. , In reality I'm Just humbly exploring the line. You know getting your hands dirty. and as per usual I am finding out that I have more questions then answers.

I feel obligated to say something about double Thai as well. I never got to grow it but it makes me think about a quadruple thai... lol

I can't wait for the day when we can compare work. Now that sounds like a special time. This is what life is all about, thanks.

Am gonna see if I can snag a pack. The Golden Tiger sounds too crazy, this might be better suited to me.

Hi kickarse,

Please check first with the retailer to fully confirm they really have Purple Haze Thai in stock. I did the latest Haze x Thai reproductions in late 2012.

Hi All,

I thought I would share a few pics of my Double Thai female that I am growing in my garden in the UK and a male that I used to pollinate 2 Panama females (One sweet like cheesecake and the other Pepper/Incense..) and also the female, for a new generation of Double Thai seeds.

I had a pack of f2s from the second release and 2 F1 left from a pack of the first release.
Of those 12 seeds I got 1 perfect male and 1 very healthy female. I believe that the male was an f2 and I am not sure about the female but I think she is an f2 as well.

The male is very much from the meao thai highland side (or at least I think he is - I am no expert) and I think that the female looks like the bushy koh chang island thai, so the seeds from the Thai / Thai cross should be fairly well balanced like the originals..

I am growing this plant in the UK and I am not sure if that will work or not... time will tell!
So far I have been flowering her for about a million years. I can't really remember a time in my life when I wasn't flowering this plant. As you can see, despite being in my early twenties when I started her, she is still in her initial flush of flowering!!! You gotta love Thai plants. I still have September and October up my sleeve but by November things get a little dark so let's hope.

The resins have just arrived the last few days, really and have not yet built up to any extent.
