Lol. We went to a restaurant with some friends and my buddy is looking over the menu. He orders sweet bread. I'm just killing myself inside because I know that dude has NO idea what he just ordered. I told him what it was once he finished.

Lots of butchers in Ireland do stock ox tongue, the stuff is bloody vile.

I recall my woman visiting my family in Belfast many moons ago,
my mum made her a sandwich with ox tongue and she rather enjoyed
it and asked me what type of meat it was, needless to say she was absolutely disgusted when i told her what she had just eating "it almost ended our relationship" she still brings it up from time to time in conversation.

My mother cooked all sorts of meat. I'm French Canadian so everything is fair game. I remember walking in and there was a pigs head boiling on the stove. That was for head cheese. Great cold and sliced on fresh bread.

But it's not better than Donuts!
