Do you wear camo?

Another thing, your face can glow, your cheek bones can reflect and hence why face paint is used. When ever the sun comes out and someone has the possibility of looking down on me, its always habit to put a hand under the eyes over the cheeks. Ask the snipers next door at the range in Benning, crazy f'er's!

hamstring: when I got in the army, I learned I was color blind, way fucking color blind. I had a doctor tell me that color blind people focus with physical acuity, while people with "normal" color rods are said to focus on color acuity, so that may change things up a bit. Haven't researched it to thoroughly but it is an interesting concept.

Edit: color-blind is really color deficient. I see color, so I am not trying to compare color to black and white [which is how Roger Staubach described visually],To me certain colors are just non-existent at certain times of the day, placement, lighting angle, etc. Color blind people are also supposed to have better Night Vision as well!

Since the before the time we were first able to focus our vision as a newborn, the blurry image of a human face was all important. If you recognize something in the vegetation as human it is probably the face you first clued into, particularly the eyes. We first recognize the eyes when the picture snaps to our attention. There is a reason why so many animals have a dark eye stripe across the face which disrupts that image.

Long story short , yes camo is important and a good head net / face mask even more important ! I got busted this year because of not wearing my head net one time this past summer. They had cameras up !

Can you tell us more?
Like was it a small town and the cops knew you by sight?
Did you try to tell them you were out hiking and you just stumbled across a grow and you were just looking at it?

I would go for infiltrating in civvy clothes and then getting changed into camo once in the forest.
Camo wont blend in in a settled area, you will look suspicious and people will remember you for sure, especially if they see you more than once.
Once in the forest the idea is not to be seen. If they do see you you will look suspicious, but they have to see you first.
Funnily enough most people I ran into in the forest used to ask if I was in the army.
Once coming out of the forest in full camo into a settled area there were 4 leo waiting for me at the trailhead. Someone had seen me go in and called leo.
Full camo, a sack with empty beercups with holes in the bottom of them, a gas powered water pump, they never said anything about growing!

One could be forgiven for thinking the USA is a militant country; all the citizens going around camoed up! Even the Taliban don't wear camo.
