OK ,today I feel the need to rant about parents(that are benefit theavin everyone owes me a favour types-if your entitled and not milking the very fabric of sociaty then get yours im talking claiming singl3 family benefits and your man is working overtime and 24 hr callout and you have just bought your 3rd car and the 8yr old has a full size quad!! !!!) who have disabled children (no wait hear me out)

If your child has a disability ,this does not give you exclusive access to Facebook for the purpose of telling the world what the local government is paying for on the child's behalf

If you have a disabled child THE CHILD IS NOT YOUR MEAL TICKET

I think if you set emotion aside and read carefully what BGB is saying it's more directed at people with a disabled child who use that child to get benefits they don't really need and don't even necessarily use those benefits to enhance their disabled child's life. If you have a disabled child and you need the help and use it to benefit the child then that's fine, that's the correct way to use disability benefits.

I think it's the people who use a child's disability for benefits simply because they can and not because they need to is what BGB is ranting about.

I think anyone who rides the system for a pay check is a piece of shit. I don't give a shit who it is. Jamie I think you may just feel like a target, but read what he said. Unless you are the unnamed person in the end of that, I doubt he was talking about you. If you are, well... keep reading. He's not even talking about the children, just their fucked up parents that MAKE the rest of us pay for it. There is a huge difference between actually needing financial help, and just fucking the system.

I've been on both sides of needing help, and offering it. I've been taken advantage of while open heartedly trying to help people, and to those people I say FUCK YOU! To the people taking advantage of a system payed for by the rest of the country, I also say FUCK YOU! If you have a disabled child, and are taking advantage of a system that could actually help those in need, I say FUCK YOU!

Rather than getting angry at a guy not using a disabled child to let the rest of us pay their bills. Get angry at the schmucks that are making it harder to get help to those that need it. If agreeing with BJB and not liking to get fucked out of help make me a mug, so be it. I would rather be a mug that can get help when I need it, than support fraud.

For the record I am a father and will do what ever is necessary to see to my son having better than I did. I understand your anger. I just think it should be channeled differently. One of these days, I might need help with my son, and I can't even fathom how I would feel being told, "Sorry, we can't help you."

speak from experience do you? what is your sons condition? what level of care is he looking at in his adulthood... what are statistics concerning sexual and physical abuse for your son while he is spending his lifetime in care?

This is what's wrong with America. Everybody has their hands out, but the people that need it are accused of taking advantage of the system.

All this talk, and over 50% of the American population receive some sort of government hand out/aid.

Reminds me of a time where my mother in law parked in a handicap spot. Some crazy lady ran out of a store yelling at her, calling her a fat ass even though she is only slightly over weight. She had just had knee surgery and the lady yelling demanded to see her scars. I stepped in and warned the lady she had made her last comment to my mother in law, and suggested she called the police. I then told her not to follow us or threaten us anymore, or I will be forced to defend myself.

She walked away, bitter at life, and a stain on her families name. Kind of reminds me of this conversation in a way.

My buddy came back from war, and is messed up. Never asked what happened. One day, he is 100% normal, a true bad ass. The next day, he won't be able to leave the house. Looks can be deceiving.

If you just need a punching bag, sing away. You are obviously still not getting the point. I am not speaking from the experience of a disabled child, and believe you are. My son is in perfect health, and I am grateful for that. That in no way means I can not relate to what BGB is saying.

I am sorry about your child. I can see you love them very much. As far as the above, I can not relate. You are going to have to make choice that I hope to never. I mean that as no insult, just the truth. I do not envy you, and I commend the strength it take to be in your position.

How does one take advantage when their kid is in need? You can't, that is what the system is set up for.

I also despise people that take advantage of the system. I was collecting unemployment and felt guilty, even though I put into the system for 15 years before collecting. It's a pride thing. Lots and lots of people have zero pride these days.
