well what's awesome one day can be rotten the next.
I been keeping a close eye on these with the last few weeks rain, humidity, and cold nights.
tonite was 7 weeks for the ECSD so I wanted to grab a couple colas as testers. first one was the worst.
not bad yet but one rotten bud still and it's starting on those bottom calyxes.
it's how I always see them go bad indoors too, on those two bottoms, it's really showing like a sore thumb here.
I only grabbed 4 tops and tomorrow I might take all of the big cola's, I was not counting
on this being good enough to smoke in the end but I think it will be decent.
this is the rotten part from that first picture. I figure I have to leave a
decent part of these plants out on the vine until oct 7th or so to see how they look.
the bag smelled quite sour when I opened and hung it but the buds got no weight on them yet.
Outdoor cookies look decent, not too frosty, probably not a good choice in my climate for full season.
these would be dope in they were finishing depped 4 weeks ago when the sun was intense.

The 3 coats your mouth with goodness more than ive ever experienced, high was up and functional. The 2.0 didnt coat my mouth as much it seemed (new feeling to me) but damn did it ring my bell, literally i at one point closed my eyes and it was like a 5fire alarm going off. I snagged a pack of Sluggo, just waiting on them to arrive. Can't wait for the next drop of some Cookie crosses!
tonight I'll go prepared to take the tops if it's progressing but I want to let some of it go 3 more weeks to see what happens.
these were just an experiment that I don't need to survive.
probably end up giving this to the patients I help if it's useable

Yes critter, any more specific info and/or pictures would be appreciated. I'd love to know what I'm getting into with The 3 right now. I have it sitting next to the 2.0 in the greenhouse right now. I'm afraid I'll probably have to pick a favorite out of the two but we'll see.

I think most everyone would choose the 2.0 over the Three.
for me I also prefer Stink Panties over the Three but I'm very interested in what comes out of the cross to her brother.
I'm stoked that Critter gives her high marks though. it will be interesting to see if she makes it out there.

So I pulled many of the ECSD tops tonight.
the rot didn't get much worse but there was a bit and there's rain forecast as well as low temps coming.
there's still lots of buds on the plant but this is a learning experience so I wanted to play it safe but leave some to ripen if possible.
don't plant too close to live conifers. this Forum is a real needle catcher. smoke report: Piney.
the Chernobyl was showing some bud rot so I think I'll harvest more of it tomorrow.
smoked some of the first round of her when I put it in paper bags to cure and it was tasty!

Hey Ganja do you have any pictures from when your 91 came down? Also, any smoke report and finaly dried and cured pictures to share? Definitely interested to see how yours came out

I harvested the 3 and 2.0 a month or so ago. Had to pull them early due to high temps and a little bud rot. Pulled early, the 2.0 was a bit lack luster. Now the sample chunky smoked with me was stellar though. So I know when she gets a chance to finish, she shines. The 3 really stood out to me pulled early. Very dank incense/og/cookie flavors n aromas. I'm getting my internet upgraded in a few days, and I'll throw up some pics.
That ogkb2.0 is so damn tasty. Subtle yet complex. Full of fruity gassy goodness. Like the glue she Knocks me back in my chair every time. Can't wait for this batch to finish

Sfv is one of my fav of the ogs but fire og is so close it may be prefered. Sfv more lemon pledge and fire is more lemon candy to me. Fire is a bit frostier and stacks better so it's prefered to grow. Both finicky asf and never stays green for me.

Dude, the Sluggo has been one of the real stand outs of the testers running now.
those were a limited run and if there are any left I'm popping them in the spring!
one of the girls is 50% bigger than everything else, just a fukkin beast!
someday I'll be trying to make that cross again.
