hey what bucket system is that?
do you chill the water?
if not, what do you do to make sure no mold/grime builds up?
how long can you walk away from it?

Sorry for the wait I didnt notice your post.

Its a Under Current Style system.

I have a 1/4 hp chiller set at 65ish.

I could leave for a week or more.

2 more weeks on the ballasts? Vaporware?

Looking good GWE, eager to hear your conclusions on the lamps after harvest!

Just curious if you had any reports yet, I'm waiting on a quote from dna and would like to know if its worth the investment

Write Dna on their website...the single bulb unit is $550 with ballast and an adapter to fit it to most hoods...or $160 more for an OG hood

$650 for the dual bulb ballast and adaptor and it is the Philips CMH 315 watt bulb but supposedly their own ballast with high frequency matched to bulb for long life and consistent spectrum

2 year lamp warranty...1 year DNA plus an additional year from Philips
5 year dna ballast warranty

$550 for 315w model, guess I wont be getting it. At the maxyeild show, the guy told me something like $300 for the 330w setup! This Phillips 315w isnt even the Tru sun bulb that i seel at the show!

Thanks for showing up everyone this was a cool project. Im very happy with how the DNA lighting worked out. It all seemed to end about 10 days early and everything looks, smells and tastes great.

Im not sure on total amount because some finished before the others and left already. Somewhere around 3-4. Not the best total but we will keep working at it. This next grow will have the 860's and the DNA Ballast to go with.

So you harvested less than 1 unit per light? Why do you feel the yield was so low? And how do you feel about the finished results from the MGD vs the CDMs?

What are the differences in the canopy zones where each lamp type were focused? Do you have any photos of final top buds before breaking them down?

Thanks for testing these and posting results.

The reason the yield was so low was because of root rot for the most part. I cant seem to have perfect white roots all the way through to the end without some browning. I dont know why but the Docs didnt like the UC system. Which sucks because I have 2 more in the next run. Both Docs produced maybe a 1/2L. The 600 mgd was nice over the CD but Its hard to say what did better with All the lights in there and so close to each other. I plan to do a run with only the Tru sun 900s. They will arrive on this Fri or Mon, Bulbs and DNA Ballasts.
