Bro i live in South-Africa, i have been google searching my head off for ballasts over here, i have had such extensive searches that yes my hair is falling out alone without me pulling it out. 480 DOLLARS for JUST a ballast at my hydro store, then there's the accendo ballast which states it can be used for hydroponics but that just costs me 400 $ & i dont see anybody in the world using them for hydro? looks like im f&^$ed and ill have import a lumatek which is going to cost me with all the import duties and taxes : / Wont be using carbon through the pvc but i will be using it to neaten up wires and i might be filling them up with foam/silicone one side fill up with sand & foam/silicone other end for rigidity. Smoke a lot youre right i am excited but i also cant take too much time because i have a good opportunity now, HTG supply ship to South-Africa ? maybe but ill be paying for two digital ballasts when it gets here. Wildgrow i understand where u coming from, there's people who love digi ballasts and thats all they use other people swear by magnetic ballasts but i have seen the improvements electronic ballasts come with i just wondered if i cud get away with a magnetic ballast on a Sylvania grolux bulb, u guys have no IDEA how much i struggle to get things here, i even struggled my balls off getting a 3 way pvc connector i found one supplier for them, Ud think panda film exists here nope not at all i dont think ONE PERSON here knows what it is cause here its called SILAGE, so yeah guys im pretty stressed out.
