Good night sir! excuse me to sit down and learn!! I'm a beginner grower and I'm thinking of using CaCo3 to make clones. 1g/L gets ph8. I would like to know how to apply it to the cuttings and also if I should use the ph down or they will absorb normally. Thanks ten in advance and a hug from Brazil.

I’ve been looking for a faster acting ca source than lime so ended up with this https://www.espoma.com/product/garden-gypsum/
CASO4 2H2O . Stupid cheap, one bag is 7$. I added this direct to the soil, which seems now like I should add direct to water? For Mag, simple epsoms salt added to watering. Just started to add the mag though.

I’m curious...what anyone thinks of the product I linked. Also how much and how often to add both cal and mag. Add a certain amount of ca and mag each watering? Given the product I have any thoughts how best to use?

Gypsum is soluble at 2.5gm/l or lower preferably.

For soil you can add the gypsum to it directly as it has poor solubility.
Mag like you said, through epsom salts.

You can use hydrobuddy to find out how much of each elemental ppm 1gm would give you
