First off - apologies to Mars Hydro. To date, I've still not gotten a flower round under their lights. In fact, I'm just now vegging plants out under the Mars SP3000. I'll get into some details shortly. I have been taking pictures and I will update.

I don't want to spend an hour typing out the drama in my own life as some sort of excuse for just vanishing, HOWEVER, life does happen. Some of it is always self inflicted and you sort of expect what you get and other aspects of it just seem to come as fate, whether earned or ill gotten or blessing or curse.

Life just happens. At times I find myself in the driver seat and other times I find myself more a passenger. The last few months have been a combination of both.

As I discussed so many pages back, I had allowed myself to enter the dating world and it didn't really go well. Parts were fantastic, other parts pure tragedy and heartbreak. A lot of confusion some where in the middle of the extremes.

We split completely for a couple months. I found a massage therapist that was a decade younger and she found herself back on a sailboat with her ex. I think both our independent experiences showed us there was something different or special about our interactions and others paled in comparison.

Long story short, we started talking again. I drove hours to see her. She drove hours to see me. We reconnected and I'll admit - through some therapy and sincere soul searching, some how we have managed to work through things. It doesn't even feel as if I'm the same person or if she is the same person or if it's even the same relationship. It's not. Things are way different. We are way different. It's something entirely new somehow even though the participants are the same.

That's the long and short of it - I'm okay. I've not had any security issues. I've just had a serious bout of depression. Anxiety. Self Loathing. A lot of anger and frustration over time wasted. A garden I couldn't stand to be in because of the memories of sharing it with her took over the escape it once provided...I've been in a serious state of "need time for self to get my f.u.c.k.i.n.g. head straight"...

I feel like that is occurring and it's time to get back to sharing what I love and what really at the end of the day make me...well, me. I lost myself for a bit and the garden suffered.

Mochiesel #9. Dead. Chem Sis x Topanga Pure Kush. Dead. Lazy Lightning. Dead...again. WTF. Chem Sis x Lucifer OG. Dead.

Whole garden. Dead. I just quit watering. I let 3 trays of clones die. All back ups. All mothers. A flower round 3 wks in I just quit watering even though light cycles still continued. Everything...dead. Dried up and crusty. Leaves turned to dust upon touch...

But - that is the past. The future is now. That is what is more important.

I do have some plants going under the Mars SP3000 - veg in 1/2 gallon at the moment.

TopDawg Seeds, Fam95 - Familia x I95 - [Chem 3 x (TK x Stardawg Ix2)] x [TK x (Legend OG x Stardawg Ix2)]

This is a powerhouse line and something I picked up at the Boston Freedom Rally in 2019 from MoneyMike. These two lines, the Familia selected clone and the I95, represent, to me, the lines that $mike built while paving his path to working with TopDawg. They were his contributions to F.A.M. and showed his passion and dedication and ability to focus and work on a given project until something superior surfaced.

There were 11 seeds. All spit good tails but only 8 came above soil. 1 dampened off. The other 7...of which one is a runt and 2 show a few early leaf abnormalities, are just shy of hitting their stride and blowing up.

These are some seriously stinky plants - 4 of which really have my attention and stand out for various specific traits I like to see in plants. I expect one of the 4 to be male and it's the loudest plant in veg by far. The thing just reeks.

I'm going to work on sorting pictures and uploading a few things to get a...more.... purposeful update underway and return this thread back to it's grass roots, so to speak.

I'm going to go back over everyone's messages and posts. I want to thank you all for the love you've shared. I know I've checked in but not posted. I tried to keep up with PMs when I logged in.

This thread is about to get back on the Stank Bros train. More on that soon.

:respect:

Im glad your back. I've let my garden die and with it all my moms when depression really sunk its claws into me - a couple of times. I'm glad you were able to pick yourself up and get back to what you love.

This was the best thread on icmag when you left.

Back to the top! (no pressure)

To post something relevant and a bit more fun:

Genetic Freaked has been working on a project we started back in 2014. When he found the Grom x Digi Bx1 male, that was eventually dubbed "Snowman". Many cuts were hit, including GG#4. That line eventually became "SnoMonkey" or ie GG4 x (GROM/Digi Bx1).

The male is well discussed in the Stank Bros forums, so I won't get into it too much here. The resulting offspring have been varied but a great plant has surfaced in his seed sorts. That plant was hit with a male from the line showing heavy resin on his stems, for a batch of F2's.

Scrappy Doo - also grew some seeds from this line and made a batch of F2's as well, although I think he mentioned the female was too leafy and culled. However, he was extremely generous in sharing some of his beans from that project.

I want to post on some pictures Genetic Freaked showed me from his Snow Monkey #2. This plant can be taken in 60 days. Has the flower and plant structure of GG4, but with a completely different smell, flavor and effect. She'll soon be in the stable and she will be the first thing that gets flowered out now that I'm back to posting.

I've not smoked her. I've not ran her. The pictures are from the seed run, under a homemade, screw in bulb LED rack...and she still performed like this. (no offense...hahaha) The way he describes her though, is tropical fruity pebbles and creamy milk/lactose. The effect he described reminded me very much of how GROM smoked.

I'll let him say anything else - but I'm excited to give this plant a go - and put her under the Mars Hydro SP3000, in a water only organic soil bed.

While the FAM95 are vegged out, cloned and backed up, then populated for flower runs - I'll get the Snow Monkey #2 in for a fast 60 day cycle - or that is the plan for now.

Its better to have loved and lost to have never loved at all.
... oh wait... it is better to have loved and lost n then found the love you had once lost but on a new found mutual understanding of respect and the concept of said love, than to have loved and lost.
Think thats how it goes, levels to this shit...

I've shown Greyskull pictures of the plant and spoke to him a bit on this project. One of the things I've always found to be interesting - GG4 has Sour Dubb as it's mother. Sour Dubb was shared with the community by Greyskull. Prior to that, Greyskull shared a plant called GROM ie Grape Romulan ie Purple Indica x Romulan.

What's interesting about Purple Indica...within the Phylos Galaxy, it has zero known relatives. That makes the gene pool within GROM very special simply because of it's mother. That aside, GROM was a fantastic plant that put out massive frost, a pure white grape juice smell and a grape, skunky flavor that would put you off your back on to the edge of your seat.

Phillthy loved GROM. He's the one who used my Digi Bx1 male to hit GROM, so he is the one who made the seeds that Genetic Freaked sprouted in which the "Snoman" male was found. He also loved GG4. Now, here is a plant that grows and puts out like GG4 but has the effects of GROM...

The SnoMonkey line - combines both of GreySkull's early contributions back into a single line, even if a bit removed from each other. The F2 seeds made by both Scrappy and Genetic Freaked will carry this line forward to a larger repopulation and much better seed hunts.

I'm excited to run the SnoMonkey #2 and see what she is all about. I'm of course, still looking for a plant that when mono cropped, will give me 2# per cycle in the 2.5' x 5' flower chamber. The challenge continues!!! :joint:
