I've used FOGG terpenes, both the "flavorless" and a few flavors. They seem fine and work well, but I don't KNOW what is in them.

I'm only one person. I only need so much rosin at the end of the day. I really want to press bubble hash with the end goal of making gummies and hard candies. Not saying it won't be dab city, but still.

In the mean time, let them smoke cake.

Damn, frank. I've seen a lot of cake around here. But none ever looked like that.

This is what is on deck in the halls of D.A.N.K. - I have to write this out to keep the schedule straight and focus the goals.

Soil test and data report, BEFORE, I flower this next round. The bed is seriously depleted. I still have soil that was set aside before anything was ever planted in it.

Obligations: Karma Genetics. HydroGrowLED. Mars Hydro.

These test grows will be completed with great detail. Clones are in the tray and waiting for roots.

For what it's worth, I'm looking forward to running a round of flower under the HGLED spectrum. I'm not disliking it...jury is out still until I get some flowers grown under it, but - I certainly see the potential.

A few others are posting great results in their test threads, but - seeing first hand is how I learn to believe.

I AM modifying my growing style, to a true SOG. 4 plants per square foot. That's 32 rooted clones - 16 per light. When I was on overgrow, this style of garden, was my DREAM set up. I see it as the way to maximize yields - but it has the default of increased plant numbers. This 2.5' x 5' flower room is by no means a commercial production space, but, if I'm going to pull 2 lbs in the space under LED, I'm pretty certain this is the way to accomplish it.

I'll likely veg for a few days until I see solid growth, which will means roots have spread and the plants are set to trigger. Bottom branches will be stripped off after the first week of 12/12 to increase airflow around the top of the soil surface.

The way some of these Mochiesel grow, they should make some VERY nice single cola dominant plants. Hopefully, the Sour D infusion will give them a lanky enough profile so they can tolerate being packed in so densely.

The London Loud - are going to be some explosive plants. I'm more excited about these. These plants REEK. Serious stank. The UK Cheese phenos seem to have more aggressive serrations on their fan blades - finding plants with this leaf type that still hold a bleachy/sour smell + a zig zag stem pattern - and you'll find a killer plant. I don't have a pheno that has all 3 traits - but I do have plants that individually hold these traits.

I have a couple London Loud, in the cloner - #2,4,9 - #4 - is a very sour/bleachy smelling plant, with a bit of toe jam skunk funk to it. I expect it to have a smaller flower set, but to be very potent. #2 is another perhaps more 50/50 pheno - less sour, more cheese - likely to yield well. #9 - is something else entirely - it's certainly SOUR - but has tiny thin - "pick-up sticks" - thin - stems...but, they have that classic chem zig-zag stem. I know exactly what type of calyxes to expect from that plant based on the traits displayed, and they'll be tear drops coated in a bling field of resin. I'm really interested to see what #9 looks like, but I don't expect it to be a big yielding plant either. It could be a quality winner though.

There are 13 females from the Karma testers - I have 6 in the cloner right now. In a SOG, I'd like to run at least 4 of the same plant or 2 and 2 of plants that have a similar growth profile. A successful SOG, REALLY, should be all the same plant, for a production run, but in this case, by running multiple clones of the same plant, at least each row of 4 can be manageable.

Seeds on Deck:

Genetic Freaked - Snow Monkey - these need to be sprouted and repopulated. GG#4 x his GROM/Digi Bx1 male. Killer stuff in those and it deserves to be spread. I still have the male I kept from the first round of seeds, but if something better surfaces, we'll just have to wait and see. :respect:

Top Dawg - Familia x I95 - Familia = [Chem 3 x (TK/Stardawg Ix2)] and I95 = [TK x (Legend OG/Stardawg Ix2)] - this line is one for the ages. A brilliant combination by $mike and I'm thrilled to run it. This line will have multiple keepers. A true F.A.M.I.L.Y. affair. :respect:

"BTY OG" S1 - I'm not even sure how much I'm allowed to tell about these yet. It was an amazing gift and I'll keep them labeled as I was given them, but also know there is a back story. My goal - is to keep 4-8 females from this line, that represent different traits. Each of these will be selfed to see what traits will carry forward to the next filial generation and worked individually towards isolating an individual trait. After several generations of bottlenecking and refinement - ie made a bit more consistent - I'll recombine 4 a x b and c x d - essentially. Once those are carried enough successive generations to where both traits present in each line, they will be combined again from two lines into one line. This will be carried a few generations. The end goal being - to have a much more consistent feminized seed line that produces what I specifically want out of an OG Kush line. This will be a long term project - and why I want to get used to running 32 plants per cycle. That way, I can get through more seed - faster - find more phenos and advance more projects. Small scale, proper breeding, is possible. I'll just treat cannabis as an autogamous crop via successive feminized linebreeding - backcrossing and incrossing.

Digi Bx2 - It's time to see what will and what won't germinate. This is the line I wanted to explore and dedicate time to 6-7 years ago. It's time to explore. Time to fine a good strong Digi male, to maybe put to use on other projects. Time to move forward on that gene pool. Chili and I have discussed my project goal. I'll need to use invitro germination techniques with this line. By the time I get to them, a bit more of a lab set up should be established. I want a laminar flow cabinet. Why do growers want such weird stuff? LOL.

Karma Genetics Sour D Bx2 - I just have to. The potential breeding material there can't be ignored. I'll F2 this line for my personal vault. Can't ever go wrong with a great Sour line in the bank. I'd like to think the ECSD clone will get pollinated at some point with some Sour Bx2 pollen. That's the line I'd really like a couple hundred of to put in the vault for rainy day fun.

Do know, once I find a keeper Digi Bx2 male, I will hit the Bandaid Haze #7 clone. The motto for that clone is "to heal the world" - which I really like. Since Digi is my main medicine and I've always viewed it as mentally healing, it only makes sense I'd want to make a digi haze line at some point. That'll be fun to sort! Not exactly ground breaking, in any regard, because that's certainly been done - "blueberry haze" - but this one will be my own, so that has merit in it's own way.

TL;DR - I'm still growing weeds. :joint:

Get your popcorn ready and your pencils sharpened boys and girls. We’re in for a great DF 2020 grow/breeding show!

I can’t wait to see the mochiesel!

A very good friend has the last 5 seeds of my Snow Monkey so hoping you guys find something special to further the line!

I almost forgot - ChemSour x SSCDH F2 seeds. Those get sprouted after the Snow Monkey and Top Dawg. Might have to bump Sour D Bx2 up the list and make that a joint run before diving into the OG S1 seeds...

I knew there was something else really on the forefront of what I wanted to grow. That line, is the pinnacle of what Phillthy produced and I'm so very stoked to have the opportunity to grow it again. So much :respect: to the ones who made that possible.

I still need to get the P1 and LL. It's been a hard one to root for some reason. She's been in house twice now, in large enough numbers SOMETHING should have rooted. Oops. Sorry, brother. I appreciate your patience and efforts. We'll get this situated. :respect:

So, the hold up. Last two trays of 40+ cuts have not rooted. Day 15 this time and no roots still.

It's almost time to get out the hydro cloning equipment. I need to get some new rooting hormone to.

Is CloneX still the top tier or has that changed?

dip-n-grow is my choice. 2 different rooting hormones one bottle. alcohol based so it sterilizes the stem somewhat, an no transfer of pathogens from cut to cut if there is any contamination. heating mat is a must for me. then again ez-cloners never work for me

You know first hand the issues I've been having. I forgot about those - wasn't even counting those. I guess that is really more like 4 rounds of cuts I've lost...geez.

It's been a nagging issue apparently.

I sterilized EVERYTHING like a manic this last time. Autoclaved the rooting media and everything. It was clean.

No mold issues - I'm thinking it's just too much moisture - or - bad hormone. BUT - normally, I don't even use a hormone at all. Just cut and stick in media, ala Jamaican style, has worked for years. When that failed. CloneX addition. When that failed, the hydro bubble cloner would come out.

My clone trays sit above a rack that is still running 6 6500K 4ft T8 fixtures, so it gets the heat from those - works great - for seed germination.

Frustrating. I need this round to get going!!!

humm , u think the t5 is making it to hot? can u verify the medium temp? you been sterilizing the trays or domes or containers u use to transfer water or nutes, ph probe, scissors. Pool shock an physan are a must for me.every piece of equipment if at all possible soaks a minimum of 30 mins in a chlorine an physan water bath. then air dryed an never rinsed.

have u had decent luck at this current place prior to now? is it well or city water? try using store bought distilled water for the cuttings. there is some crazy shit that can live in well water. even at that the city water coming in, some bacteria need 10+ ppm of chlorine to sterilize properly. city i believe never hits that number

this is killer deal , i run the 4 ft mat, but theres 2ft mats as well. nice controller too an for $30 its a steal.

All trays and such - fully sanitized. Store bought distilled water used only the last two rounds.

Yes. I've had success using the same tech, prior. Even this year. Wasn't running the best numbers - only getting about 40%-70% roots - but, it wasn't an issue running 8 and then vegging. Running 32 cuts each round, I don't have time for this non-sense.

Not only that, you hack a mom up for that number of cuts, unless you keep multiple moms, you've got to wait to veg her out again.

Really about ready to just drop some fem seeds under 12/12 light and say F.U.C.K. it - until I get things back on point.

At this point, IC cup entry is already jeopardized. Really getting annoyed at my own personal lack of focus in the garden. Shit needs to change.

It really does come down to staying on things 100%. This is on me. One of the best things I love about this craft. Everytime. 100% on me. No blame to cast. No shade to throw. Nothing to discern. Simple facts. Stare in the mirror and own your own.

I've not been on my "A" game. Sorry F.A.M.

I'm going to have to drive into the city and get some new supplies. Might even just buy some rapid rooters or root riot plugs. Although, I never really had 100% success with those either. It's why I started making my own cloning media.
