It doesn't matter if you buy a $1.50 pack of a papers, a $15 'production' bowl, a $50 bubbler, a $100 bong... NONE OF THAT WILL GET YOU HIGH.
WEED WILL.
And I can guarantee that LolaGal (props and congrats on the beautiful new bong) is as happy or happier with her new bong than she would ever be with a RooR, or EHLE, or "heady" piece or whatever.
She kept her acrlyic piece for so long because it performed its purpose and it performed it well. It pulled smoke through water, cooled it down and condensed it, went to her lungs, and then throughout her nervous system. German engineering has a lot of work to do before they can make that process worth $500.
Realistically the only reason to ever buy a RooR is because it is like buying Kellogs Fruit Loops instead of Jimmy John"s Fruit Circles. Some people just really feel better with the name brand. It makes them feel important. It makes them think they've got a clue. It makes them feel like high rollers. "They ballin." I understand that there are people like that. What I don't understand is when those people think there was a free order of condescending 20-something jackass with that $500 hunk of glass. If you want to talk about cannabis that's great that's awesome this apparently is the board for you. But I don't have a clue why there are people on this board who's sole purpose is to troll anything glass and throw in there 21 year old opinion like it actually has any meaning at all. Aren't there glass forums for you jokers?

I'm gonna clean up old faithful to her best state ever! Then the old acrylic bong will be used for those times clumsy people come over, etc. I still love my old acrylic bong! Once you get that nice brown coating to seal the plastic, yum! LOL

Have you tried polident or efferdent or any other fizzy denture cleaning tabs with a bottle brush? That was how I used to keep my original G. Graphics bongs back in the 80s.

Yup, only thing that works is Olive Oil or cooking oil! Thanks though! I thought the polident would work too. That tar is just too strong for it!

Where do you get the 90 Proof Alcohol at? I got some regular rubbing alcohol at the dollar store, noticed it's only 50 % alcohol.

Wow! Could not believe how dirty it got the first day! I whupped the new glass bong into a hot bath at the end of the day and cleaned her up! The alcohol and salt worked really well. However the 50% alcohol did not dissolve all of the tar, so I wiped it clean. Thanks for all the cleaning tips Ya'll!

I high quality piece just adds the over all experience.
not everyone is a clumsy uncoordinated stoner.
LolaGal- search around and find the 99% iso alcohol it works so much better.
Keep that piece clean, change the water often and don't let the resin build up.
After every session i carefully clean my bong with alcohol and salt( form the bong itself to the stem and bowl), i get that shit back to brand new status. Once im finished and the bong has dried i carefully pack it back in its box with foam penuts and bubble wrap and put it back in its place, bongs deserve that kind of respect after all they do for us I cant stand a dirty bong especially if its mine

Very interesting development. I had a jar of alcohol that I have been using to clean my glass bong. After cleaning the glass one, I decided to put the metal downstem of the Dirty Bong in there and let it soak clean. There was some salt and alcohol in the jar already.
OK, went back to check on the downstem of Dirty Bong, and was surprised to see about 1 inch of brown oil floating on TOP of the alcohol in the jar!!!
Did I just make Hash Oil? There's gotta be a couple OZs of oil here! Can I get it out with that salt in there? It's floating on the alcohol!
What do Ya'll Think? Trash or Treasure????

my suggestion is thru it out and reinvest in a glass tube and clean it after u use it for gods' sake, my pipes still smell and look like the day the came outta the kiln haha
