Nice bushes you got there Dimebag. Nice username too. I met Dimbag and phil in New Orleans about 13 years ago when they were putting on there haunted house. A buddy of mine was cousins with phil. As usual Dime Bag was puffin on some nice smelling bud, but didnt offer any to us. RIP Dime Bag.

Dignan- Great having you stop by and say High man, Thanks for your compliments and the question now is have i gone and grown these ladies TOO big? might have to do some bondage on their asses to keep them from getting too tall. I definitely dont know everything but i do my best to keep everything in its optimal range. More than happy to share whatever i know but dont think you need too much apprenticing heh.. you seem to be able to stand your own with the gals. Hope everything is going well your way and i will be stoppin in to check on how your plants are doin. Puff Puff.
Germanator- thanks alot buddy and good to see your still around, Hope everything is bee going well for you. The seem to keep expanding, so i just step back and let them do the rest

Rusto- hey hey, well i would give ya the popcorn snippings at least so you could root them and have the genetics, but o well, they are decomposing now. But yes, the reason that i cut them off is to give the plant vigor in growing the top colas. Thanks alot, i have been quite pleased with how the garden has been looking. And yeah.. just a few things id rather not have included in pictures. Hope your havin a good one and talk to you later on.

it really gives me that little bit of extra motivation to get out there and take care of my ladies. as if the beautey of them isnt enough

Been doing more extensive tying and training with the plants due to the fact they are getting too tall for my liking.. hard to say that but at the same point i have no idea the stretch on these gals. will probly have some finishing out at around 8 feet or so.
Due to the camera being out of action for the time being i wont be able to get any pictures for just a bit.. probly within a week or 2 i will have a good update.
Basically just picture everything how it is right now with pistils pumping out

Things are getting exciting these days as the aroma in the air continues to get stronger. i am very pleased with the plants that had the time to veg that i wanted to give them, she are filling out nicely.
it is very sad to hear about the problem you had, really wishing you my very best with the rest of your ladies and hope you pull through without anymore mishaps. may Jah watch over you and yours and Blaze it up man!
o yeah by the way, everything is going well here.. wont be any updates for just a few but everything is looking great. Puffer er easy

Motivation is a big problem that steps in the way of plants being at their happiest, i find myself slacking and i dont have to haul water through rough terrain!

very cool dime. now i ask. do you trim them at all? you got bushes so are you going to go in there and trim the inner on them or what? mine are also just pistal nation this week. im not trimmin any more but yours are thick as raspberry patches. do you let them go or what? i cant lst much so i trim inner branches down low. but do you do anything more at this time of year or is it to late now and you just let em go? my bush is up to my chin but i HATE trimming!!! im very curious. later and keep on keepin.

well things are progressing well in the garden, everything is forming up well and the aroma is kickin it up a notch.
iv been having to bend and tie down more branches due to them wanting to stretch and i dont know how i feel about 8 to 10 foot bushes. maybe if they are big enough no one will notice them
either way im just trying to keep things some what in control and tying up the loose ends that i needed to for branch support and will probly be doing up a grid of sorts with twine for the hopefully fatty and heavy buds to come.

they are getting bat guano, fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom, molasses, sweet, scorpion juice, kelp, superthrive, and i will be adding some beastie bloomz 0-50-30 at some point in low doses just to kick their p and K up a notch.
i have also been spreading around dolomite lime to help with any ph problems.

But it doesnt take having them close to get huge bushes, JJ and Mole are proof of that.. just have to be able to get them out soon enough and hopefully be able to put clones out already vegged for a bit. You guys out in the bush are the true hard workers of growing, and im sure next year will be much kinder to you. sorry to hear about the expectations of a low harvest, but the weather and climate has been pretty ****ed this season, i had a fair few problems this year as well, but luckily i was able to get them under control. Little J- glad you like the garden, and to answer your question about trimming them up... yes i trim the inside of the plants up. anything in the very middle of the plants about a foot out from the stalk or that isent getting very good light. it really all depends on your plants size and structure to determine what you want to trim and what you dont want to. i have left alot more than i would normally due to the fact i was having some pest problems and also wanted to have an much living material on the plant as possible. I actually will start trimming more off as they continue to flower, anything that just isent forming up worth a shit get snipped off, and it shows up alot more once the plant starts forming up.
also you can tie branches away from eachother as they start to flower to allow more space for light to get in, and for them to have room to expand. you will notice that the inner budsites will get much fatter and denser if you pull everything away from itself.
i really hate taking more material off than i need to, but there will be some more undergrowth trimming due to no light penetration. trim as you see fit, you will probly notice what you want to trim more as you see how things start to form up.
