Hello Guys, nice to have you here sharing in my gardening experience! I have been finding myself in the garden alot more and am really trying to keep them as happy as possible.
I have stopped feeding them high nitrogen bat guano and have just been giving them molasses, Sweet 0-0-0, Scorpion juice(a viral inhibitor from Advanced Nutrients) a Bit of dolomite lime, superthrive and kelp foliar sprays and letting them do their thing...
basically trying to give them as many sugars to work with in their transition period between veg and flowering, either this week or next i will probly start mixing up some higher P and K guano and a few other ingredients
so moving right along.

Smurf- Its great to see you here man! its been a while and i hadnt seen your around, Glad to hear from you and hope all is going well your way. Glad you like what i have been doing in the garden, and im very happy at how beautiful the ladies have been looking.
Peaceful vibes going out to you as well, and Hope to see you around more.
Core- hahah, well thanks for the vote of support! I believe we dont mind Your French, but for some odd reason it seems to not be acceptable, anyways i find it to be a good description for many situations, Glad you like the garden and i cant wait to see how everything forms up in there. I better not talk about blowing a load of pollen all over the girls pistils or anything, might be mistaken for sexual conversation now a days
Hope all is well in your garden and i will have to come by and peep out the gals are doing.
Bonzo- High there man! Very nice to have you stop in and check out the ladies. I would love to see you get a good spot to do up some beauties outside, there is just something great about working with plants outside that is so fulfilling. The 818 has gone mad, i just wish she wasnt such a stretchy, viney gal... the inside of the plant has alot of stretch between bud sites. either way im sure she will do great I am really gettin anxious to start seeing them bloom out as well, going to be a beautiful sight indeed. and you are most correct, FUN fun fun!! at least I try to keep it that way
Hope your having a great day, and give the ladies my best
Peace, Pot, and a good Spot
MajLeeStoned- Hey there buddy, nice to see you drop back by, and by the looks of it i would like to have you as a neighbor too! might have to switch up a few cuts and really get a mix of aromas. I really like your bench in the middle of the garden, i really need to get a small table and a comfortable recliner out in the garden heh.
will probly be sleepin outside with them for a while to come, been too damn hot inside lately and hasnt been cooling off. im sure my gals wouldnt mind the company either.
Looks like the garden is really spot on, very healthy and happy looking.
What strains are you running this round? Hope your having a great day and i will be talkin to you later on.
DrHydro- yeah sure is... might just motivate me to drag one out in the garden myself.

Hello Dime,
Great pics as usual bra. The last shot..is the beastie on the right the 818? If so what is its lineage plz.You are one with your plants Dime..Soma always talks about communing with his plants etc.Your plants just look like they are in tune with you and your methods BIG TIME!!!....mucho respect..BL
That 818 is HUGE!!! That is what the big one is in the back of the garden right? They're looking picture perfect Dime. Keep doing what you do. I can't wait to see what she yields.
Well i figured i would give a little break down of this year so far as to the best of my recollection.
At the beginning of the year around February or so, i started some small clones indoors which didnt take off very fast due to their poor health. I vegged them to around 2 1/2 - 3 feet before bringing them outside and putting them into the ground.
i started some seedlings early on as well, but due to some unexpected trips i lost some that i am really not that happy about, but was able to start more later down the line, and will probly run more next year.
Due to some root problems that were present when i first received some plants i lost some here and there, and threw a few out just because there wasnt vigorous growth.
Also put some larger plants in the garden which had been vegged for a while, dont remember every strain and dont really care to get into that, but a few in there that have some age to them.
I went to The bay area and picked up some HindukushXskunk, grapefruit, sour diesel, and a blueberry just to add some variety to the garden. Unfortunately none of these got very big but at least will be some selection.
i put some other Clones out which i got from a buddy but none of them are very big either, but again at least some more variety in flavor.
I ran into the problem of everything flowering out mid summer abouts, and that really killed my veg time... they went into at least a week or 2 or flowering before they started reverting back to veg... about the time they were back to vegging right we are to present time. So this year has definitely not worked out even close to how i had hoped even though everything is looking good, Everything should be at least 3x3x3 or 4x4x4, and the larger ones should be more like 7xxx to 8xxx, but mother nature doesnt always cooperate.
>>>
Strains to date that i kept in the garden(SOME of these are cuts that i have NOT determined there authenticity, so i am just putting up the strain names as i received them and understand their genetic background to be)
Sour Diesel, grapefruit, blueberry, snocap, Strawberry kush, purple kush, 818 og kush, Hindu kush x Skunk, Thunderskunk, Odyssey, Super silver haze(or some haze?), A variety of some cuts that are from a Male Purps crossed to a variety of Afghani etc, females from what i understand... and some Sour diesel ibl X og kush Bx1 from JLP(hoping to get some pollen for the kush's)
i have some Thunderskunk pollen in the fridge, and also some guerilla gold pollen which hopefully is keeping alright that i could dust a few branches with..
hopefully get a bit of sd x og bx1 pollen in time too.
I tossed bubbleberry, trainwreck and a few other clones that werent doing what i wanted. and managed to lose my SSH x kush.

FEEDING, etc
after putting everything in the ground i spread around alfalfa meal, folliar sprayed with kelp and superthrive. Also spread around some dolomite lime, and watered in molasses after their grounding.
they didnt need too much feeding for their first bit in the ground and i mainly foliar sprayed them with organic kelp, earth juice- microblast(micronutrients), superthrive and later on some nitrozime- organic algae extract.
about a month or so in i spread around some 10-3-1 bat guano, fox farm 5-5-5 all purpose and continue to add a bit of dolomite lime and foliar spray.
and have followed adding epsom salt, bat guano and the foliar feeding schedule up to date.
also using Sweet 0-0-0, and Scorpion juice(advanced nutrients product, a Viral inhibitor.)
>>>>>
Training, tying, supercropping
as the plants start to spread out and want to stretch their branches toward the sun, i take stakes and twine and pull branches down horizontally so their inner branches have room to grow upwards and onwards. i continue to pull branches down from the bottom branches all the way to the top branches and they kind of fill in on themselves.
as they continue to grow vertically i either top, which i did on a few that i didnt like their growing style, or continue to twist and bend the top most branches down horizontally.
also as they continue to bush out i will trim up the inner plant growth that wont amount to anything worth keeping. gradually the inside foot or so of most of my inside branches are bare.
WELL this information was more for my benefit for a reminder of what i have done and to refresh my memory but if any one can find the information useful thats great too, training plants will either make or break your yields, definitely something that needs to be done with most strains if you have the room to spread them out.

BudLuver- Glad you are enjoying the pictures Bud The big bush on the right is the 818 og kush... i have no idea on its lineage and for that matter i havnt grown this cut out yet, but its some cut of og kush i guess, have yet to see how she does outside, but she sure does smell nice.
thank you very much for observation as well, i try to stay in tune with the ladies to as best i can.. iv never been one to use meters and measure feedings out.. i usually try to go by touch and go, start out with enough to keep them happy and give them more if they want it. Constant hovering over them and keeping them in good health im sure helps too heh. I always enjoyed Soma's views on growing and the relationship between the grower and his plants. Hope you enjoy the rest of the show and thanks for your kind words, Will catch you later on.
Montreal Jazz- and wait.... and wait... o well at least im getting used to the waiting game, helps me with my patience. Well at least your stickin the wait out and hope you stick around to peep the rest of the year, Peace
Krome- hey there buddy The 818 sure is getting huge, i just wish it wasnt so lanky and viney.. alot of stretch goin on between bud sites. yeah she is the one to the right in the back, the bush to the left isent quite as tall but a ton of bud sites all over her, i believe SSH. Lets hope they stay this healthy looking all the way through flower Ill keep doin my thing and interested to see how she yields as well. Hope to see you around and i will be looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful bud shots, you know how to pose the ladies Peace until next time.
Esbe- Hello there esben, great to have you here and you sure dont have to tell me, i cant wait to see these ladies bloom out for me
Betta step aside for the Dime buds from hell
Your ladies are looking particularly nice these days as well, your Deep chunks are looking insane, noticed that 10 leafer DC, some fat leaves like i love to see. Wishing you the best with mother natures cooperation and the rest of your season, hope to catch you soon and take care
>>>>>>>
Well, i really need to puff a fatty after that, iv been slacking off on recapping at least in general what i have done this year.
Hope you all are having a great start to a new week, and will be talking to you guys soon.
you see the thunderskunk..
would you say she was a good representation of a skunk..
in particular that leaf..shape/formation.
I have a hybrid..very similar that I am hoping to pindown..genetically..
I know I have a skunk#1 in the Mazar side of my crosses..so I am wondering if it is her poking her head out.
The girls are looking Great..
I wish I could get a sniff of the air 'round your place..it must be like Paradise..
The size of them brings out my greed..
but the colour and condition bring out my admiration of growing well done.
I love the chair/bench photos..I can imagine everyone sitting late afternoon enjoying their girls..like I do.
It is a good place to be.
StoneShaper- thanks alot! glad you enjoy the updates. I would love to see you start up earlier and have some fat ladies going in the mountains, i can completely understand the test run too, always nice to walk through the steps for a good idea of your area and water hauling. Hope you are having a great week, and your gals are looking real nice, should be a nice bit of smoke to puff on.
Mossy- Hello there Mossy man, good to have you stop by again. Im really not the best person to ask about skunks, i am no expert on them but i do know that these should be a pretty good representation seeing they were taken from very good stalk of skunk genes. it is very difficult to tell is small variations with crosses, as far as slight differences in leaf formation (at least for me) until they start showing more predominant traits. Should be able to tell much better once your gal starts flowering out, i look alot at general leaf finger profile, the curvature on the edges and how wide they go from leaf tip to end. Wish i could be of more help but i dont know what to tell ya.
The girls have been looking rather nice, and with all going well hopefully they will maintain that throughout flowering. The aroma in the air is quite lovely, always enjoy giving all the girls a nice pinch as well.
Its nice to be able to sit out and enjoy the girls in all their beauty, i just wonder how many of us are out lookin at the ladies all puffin at 420 hmmm
Hope your having an excellent week and i will talk to you soon.
Stoned2Death- Hey stoned bro thanks alot, glad you enjoyed the updates. I believe its just climate change that made them flower for how long they did, it would be rather normal for plants to flower for a short period of time when they first go outside, especially if they are not brought out gradually and get used to their new environment, but EVERYone was having problems with flowering and stalling out this year from what i have seen.
Nice to hear about your new place, thats awesome you are able to spread your wings a bit and expand the area for your gals Wish you the best with the move and hope to be hearing from you soon.
I love your plants Dime, as I have said many times before. They look so much better on my new computer screen. Although, internet just doesnt do them justice. I'd like to take a stroll through your garden with a fat 1/8 blunt and just split my wig listening to nature, and admiring gods greatest gift to man.
Keep it Irie
nice bunch of bushes, really.
& it seems they won't stop fatening hehe..
I've said before also but you still do a good job in your garden! So I tell you again.
Keep them green
beloved and desired buds are coming!!..
Today i found my first hermie ... was a small 1 foot plant that i started from seed... but what was interesting is there was maturing balls and hairs about the same age... iv never seen first hand a hermie that shows both signs of sex so clearing that early on.
that aside everything is going well, been trimming up some scraggle inside branches as things step into flowering, trying to find everything that is just going to popcorn bud out and snip it off.
>>>>
TeH_Baker- glad you are enjoying the garden man, its been months of patience and work, but things are starting to really look up. thats good to hear you got a new monitor, but pictures definitely do not do them justice, its still sinking in how big they will be by the end. Its nice to puff in the garden and watch things in motion, take in the sights and aromas. Keep it irie as well and ill catch you later on.
Trapik- Thanks alot! they sure seem to keep expanding on me Your bushes are looking very lovely as well man! sure are looking healthy and happy, and i am quite looking forward to watching you finish them out. Them buds better be coming! lol, best wishes with the rest of your season and i will talk to you later.
StretchPup- Nice to have you stop by and take a peek into the garden Stretch, and glad you like what you are seeing. Hope to see you back around as things are just beginning Hope all is well with you and your, and will catch you later on.
