I thought asking for the tapes might be a bit suspicious. The call at my spot came in around 8, the next day there was a near-identical call in the same area, status: subject gone on arrival.

I got rear-ended a few years ago with my kids in the car and the first thing the cops did was see what tickets they could write, where my kids in child seats and so on. Would be nice if they cared a little more about preventing accidents then writing up tickets after the fact.

Maybe if you could narc on some growers, cops would treat you better huh?

Yeah, one of my considerations is the call came in 37 minutes before the officer knocked on the door. That's a long response time in anyone's book. The last call before mine was about 5 hours earlier, and the next call about 2 hours after mine.

Hey Lazy, sorry to hear your in such a dilemma. And not even of your own making really. This kind of question always cracked me up when I was in the can. Guys would always wanna know what I, or the next guy thought would happen in there case. "What you think they're gonna gimme" they'd say. Personally, I don't feel comfrtable saying what I "think' is going on, cuz that would only be one more voice running aruond in your head, when you really need to follow your gut.
37 minute response time, well it sounds like this spot of your is pretty far out there, so it wouldn't seem all that illogical for such a delay. And add to that a single officers trepidations in going through a posted no trespassing beware of dogs labeled gate just to try and check a place out...maybe dude was shittin his pants the whole time wondering if it was the last call he's ever go on... I can here him now..."damn budget cuts, I got a kid in high school and one in diapers and these god dang mexi cans are gonna get me killed...I could be eatin donuts sippin coffee and reading the newspaper tight now" or somthing to that affect.
If your feeling an overwhelming since of paranoia...maybe you should listen to it. But if you felt a huge sigh of relief when you got the scoop on the dv call and what not, well maybe your coolio yo. Whatever you do, don't completly listen to myself or anyone that doesn't really kow you or your situation personally. All any of us can do is toss out scenarios and root for ya homie.

you gotta pick and choose your battles wisely...all he was saying that if they wanna play games, he can play harder. Some people you have to get a lil gansta on before they realize what the stakes really are. You make it sound like the guy is just waiting for these cats to mess up so he can have there bones broke. Thanks guys for all the help, support, good vibes and positive thoughts. I think it's working! One week down and all is quiet. The next two weeks are the real tough ones, as it seems that most raids follow a knock n talk by about 2-3 weeks, rarely more, rarely less.

The helpers thing, don't worry about it, they are the only guys who know where the spot is and who are even a small security concern. They both know the stakes and were warned before being brought over that their very lives depended on secrecy. No thieving or snitching allowed, and I will take very good care of them. If they get arrested/implicated I'm covering their bail/attorney fees.

I remember a few years ago reading bout a guy on here that said if he so ever so much as got a knoc on his door from cops, he was literally gone and moved out the next day.... he seemed to know how to do this shit. I wish there was a massive indoor grow thread addressing all the real issues.... i get tired of hearing shit like n0. 1 rule is dont tell anyone, but oh yea u must use safe addy, wtf is that like what person lets you order shit loads of hps hoods and huge can fans without putting 2 and 2 together, someone plz fucking help??? no one bothers to explain this , its just fcuking frustrating when u wanna get started but advise is all non organized and contradictory..... fcuk
