The mh sounds like a good idea, I have my mh with an hps on each side in bloom and the
plants under the mh do the best... but they are in the middle of the garden getting lots
of hps from both sides. Just from an asthetics point of view its alot easier on the eyes
and the plants have a more natural color with the white light in there. Still sux for pix
though.

I got the skillet vapor curve en route. Any day should be here.
Mix spec is way to go IMO also considering 2 400w cmh in there too. Since I guess they run cool and I have 2 ballasts just sitting there. Dunno yet.

Ok folks basically took 7 days to dry on the racks. That was good I thought it may be quicker. My room was kept humid n cool mostly. That helped slow the process.

I am pleased considering the stunted beginning. I am disappointed that probs happened at all. I was shooting for 5 minimum and hit that. 6 was the most I could assume would be there n I was in between. Ehh shooting for 8 next time should make it happen too. I gonna veg til trees this run. HS- i have a mini split. w/ heater. temps are of no concern. same all year round. the expence to keep it the same changes. my plants were sick 2 times just before bloom (1x me lazy no flushing and 1 time bad ph meter)and were seriously stunted going in. my girls didnt really even stretch like they always do. just grew buds. buds are half the size as last time in diameter also. i should have waited for 100% recovery before flipping but i had already lost 4 months of the year thanks to mites. so i couldnt really afford to wait another month. i am sure i will nail the 8 with healthy plants. prob closer to 10 with 5k over 1 plot. thats the goal any way. without sacraficing quality either. mcgoo said i had the biggest colas hes seen to date that run too and i was saying i was upset with their size n he laughed at me but i know the potential so for him he though i was crazy prob. lol. i have several 8-12 in spears dryed and completely connected from bottom to top but still not what could be and def lost hella girth. thinner spears than before by 30% minimum. quality is still there though but less yeild.

Ido- haha id do it anyway. just smell proof it and block IR and pay that bill lol. hopefully u move soon though. that would be cool for you.

jack- its called a PRO-Cut worked really well

well i rearranged my lights. they are creating a single footprint now and i must walk the perimeter to service now instead of a middle row. no more wasted light. there is also a 5th 1k in the center. vert mount 4 ft parabolic style. heigth adjustable all around. had to shave weight to manage the 5th rig so i switched to the lighter metal hood mounting bar from the heavy wood mounting bar. i also mounted the hoods directly to the bar and hang the bar from the lightrail wings. complete opposite of original approach. this allows only 2 chains to adjust to lower/raise the hps bars vs. 4 chains that had to literally be inched up or down because of the ducting in between hoods. i couldnt just drop 1 hood where desired then the other. now i can drop one side of bar, then the other and hoods are secure. so no more tedious strenuous adjusting of multiple chains...multiple times. this should look interesting when fired up. finally.

mounts this simple... it is super sturdy with the 4 way anchor hanging. doesnt have slack to swing in any direction

here is the hps bar revamped.

i didnt officially weigh supplies but i am confident that after the modifications, i have added a 4ft parabolic hood n bulb n have actually shed weight from the movers load. the damn wood was heavier than shit.

new thread coming. just wanted to put the work down in here. redoing the floor tomorrow. will take pics of the mods n post in here for fun.

i also moved the scrubber in the veg room to the ceailing and lowered the lights. plants are noding tight now and heat is removed much better. time to fill the cloner......

its almost done now. i got the frame done n room clean as a whistle as far as particulates go. gonna line the frame with its own pondliner. just like the one that lines the room. all this is doing is retaining any runoff. this lets me walk the perimeter and not track water. i have upgrade plans in the future for the overflow retainer but for now this is how i will rock it.
5K mix spectrum on a mover over an 8x10. coco drain to waste on a manifold.

figured i would show before lining. it would be hard to tell whats going onthat way.

the edges will get pounded. all i need now is sufficient uvb source. thats about all i need for lighting upgrades. maybe 2 cmh or something but thats later down the road. i need a lil LED tent to play with on the side in the mean time. it is in the works.
