Dehuey fan on or auto?

Had a discussion with a dehumidifier company about running the fan continuous for air circulation and he suggested that is a bad idea due to blowing moisture you just paid to remove off the damp coils and drain pan of the unit and back into the room.

Seems like i heard the advice once to run the fan continuous to dry the coils to prevent mold. My thought was that that moisture he is concerned about will evaporate either way back into the grow room.

Any thoughts?

Ive got a quest 155 dehuey on the way. The plan is to mount the unit on top of the sealed grow box and duct the supply and return. Im contemplating disabling or maybe removing the 155's blower and installing a 8" fan and inline carbon filter and push through the unit. My thought is

1. carbon scrubbed air will keep the machine a hell of a lot cleaner than quest's 2" pleated throw away job. 15 years HVAC taught me that no pleated, fancy, electrostatic, 4" thick media, you name it what ever kind of filter ever kept a evaporator coil 100% clean.

2. i will be using a fan to continuously scrub air anyway why run two fans at once?

3. Due to the inline fan's ability to push high static, I can run smaller, higher velocity duct. 8" return and 2, 6" supplies vs 12" return and two 10"s. I will use a speed controller and cfm meter to dial the airflow to match the dehumidifier's rating ( 400 cfm)
