Love that one, Weezard!
It's def. a deep stoner thought and also I've always found more comfort in thoughts about the endless void of the universe and our tiny role in it than in any of the established religions.
I'd print that out and hanf it on my office wall if the resolution was better.
Thanks man

it is better ten guilty men go free than one innocent man be jailed

this has been the motto for as long as we have been a nation. unfortunately, many judges/jurists/LEO have NEVER bought into it, really. it has worked out more along the lines of "i'm pissed off & SOMEONE is gonna get fucked for it! if i can't get the right guy, i'll take it out on some poor SOB that can't fight back..."

Yea good quote Weez, very Sagany and awesome. Neil Degrasse Tyson also. Season 2 of Cosmos please! Fox doesn't even need to run it, have Netflix foot the bill, they're blowing up with investors. Full season's anyway. I recommend Black Mirror on Netflix, it's a techie's Twilight Zone, that ironically warns about getting too far ahead of ourselves in tech...logic first. Thank you Terminator movies...

And if by chance you make a landfall on the shores of another sea in a far country inhabited by savages and barbarians, remember you this: the greatest danger and surest hope lies not with fire and arrows but in the quicksilver hearts of men.

Hello all,

Never before have I felt deeply embarrassed to be an American upon the world stage.

Considering cancelling my trip abroad.

I hear Canada's nice.
In the summertime.

Take your trip.
Just wear your t-shirt that says
"Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him", in several languages. :D

When I'm in deep levels of high, I start to realised that there are different realms to what we are experiencing, besides the physical one, there's so much more wisdom to be gained. The Holy Herb helps to transport us to a level of higher understanding and opens up our perspectives.

One thing that has always fascinated me about enjoying the fruits of our hobby (smoking the fine marijuana we grow), is the deep meditative type thinking we tend to fall into afterwards. Where we find ourselves figuring out things intuitively that once stumped us, or we have thoughts and ideas that seem like great epiphanies or revelations from seemingly out of nowhere. As if somehow the state of being high unlocks something in our psyche that allows us access to knowledge outside of ourselves.

Of course more often then not, when revisiting these thoughts in a more sober light, we find that our thoughts and ideas tend to have serious flaws in them or we now forget pieces of the puzzle and it no longer makes sense. Every now and then though I think we do stumble on true gems of thought that are worth preserving.

To that end I thought it might be interesting to create this thread as a place where any of us can come when we're stoned and these thoughts are active in our minds and record them. Hopefully in the end we'll have built up a collection of thoughts and ideas that may be of value to others. At the very least it should also make for interesting discussion around the smoking table. :smoke out:

I'll start with this. Over the years we've seen various studies that strongly suggest marijuana might be capable of doing some pretty significant things medically. One study suggests it might help prevent memory loss and dementia in people prone to alzhiemers or to slow down the advance of dementia in people who are already suffering from it. Other studies and treatments strongly suggest that marijuana can slow, reverse and in effect cure some types of cancer or even prevent cancer from developing. Unfortunately due to the politics that work against marijuana none of these things ever really get tested the way they should and so these medical benefits go largely ignored even though marijuana gets used medically in many other ways with good results.

Well it occurs to me that at this point in time we'll soon be seeing a flood of people who grew up in the hippie generation, when everyone was smoking marijuana, into retirement and the age when these things that marijuana may help with usually present themselves. Wouldn't it be something if for the next decade or so we saw a sharp decline in alzheimers and cancer because of all those people who've enjoyed marijuana most of their lives resisting those afflictions in their retirement years?
i know this 1st post by the op is over 4 years old but i have never seen this thread before and i usually read threads from the beginning if they are not too long. upon reading a stoned thought came to my mind.

What if the young people of my generation end up making pot look bad cause there was so many of us that never grew our own organically and bought where ever we could get it with who knows what used to grow it, or keep pests and fungus off, poisoning ourselves with myclobutnil (spelling) and end up dying in our 40's?

I mean me an my dudes were misinformed. smoking all types of weed that looked all kinds of fucked . once got some weed that was all white and made to believe it was white widow.

Cant even get into talks about all the Chinese trash i've smoked.
I wonder if these dudes had a million dollar crop in the 5th week of flower, if they would throw away their crop or spray it down with some eagle 20 and keep going.

Jokes on him, I don't have any brain left at all. Last night while I was listening to the echoes inside my empty skull I realize that somewhere out there is a house and inside that house is a scrogged grow. The grower got tangled in scrog netting and starved to death years ago, but thanks to the modern miracles of light & water timers and instant credit card payment of eltric bills the grow is still operating. By now the grower's corspe is wrapped in the roots of F13s phenos of original plants. Every day 12 hours on & 12 off & the root burrow deeper into the grower's bone marrow, naturally selecting the best possible man-eating genetics for indoor growing.

I am so going to enjoy him in a orange jumpsuit....He will die in jail.

addendum:

Remember, the media will write his obituary, not the other way around...a calming thought.
