Deep Stoner Thoughts

Tried to bring my service snake to the airport. They were not amused. :)

In recent attempts at thorough defining of what is, and isn't, a legitimate 'service animal,' Alaska Airlines determined that snakes are NOT service animals, but miniature horses are.

I can't wait to peruse the rest of the reportedly-very-well-defined list. Bound to be amusing.. and very subjective.

Will they let me bring my pet rock, or is that determined to be a weapon of sorts? I know of folks who were forbidden to carry stones/rocks they had gathered onto the aircraft in carry-on.

Can you trust TSA with your stones? :)

Well, we all shine on

Like the moon and the stars and the sun

Yeah, we all shine on

"On, and on, and on, and on...., like the moon, and the stars, and the Sun."

I just told a family member, in re. to my mothers that are not entirely well at all, and now thirsty, and needy; "Wait until they're screaming in agony. That way when you bring them water, they'll appreciate you that much more..."

Hmmm. Pavlovian horticulture?

I can sing Hello Dolly Satchmo-like until "it's so nice to have you back where you belong, yeaaaah". I've practised it while cooking in a restaurant and my then gf wanted to make it an attraction, but it scared some punters. Deaf bastards. Never sang Hello Dolly again.
I could've been a contender.

I preferred Satchmo's version of "When the Saints, go marching in." That was a laundry room song back when. Better acoustics.

Better tune overall, by far. but harder to sing in the laundry room. Required a lot more range and voice control. ;^>)

Well, I 'm not sure what's going on here. Seems to me this thread is like Broken English (no reference to yrself Herman).

But besides Marianne Faithfull another woman whose music cannot be passed by is Billie Holiday, especially that VERY stoned track "Fine and Mellow" with her 'husband' on sax.

Ripper Guys! Keep up the Obfuscation!!!

Saw an ostrich as a kid. Obfuscation? Meh.. Nothing special. Any street corner cafe' on Sunday; just listen to the chatter. Made me choose reefer over coffee years ago. but then I back-slid on the coffee deal, and fell off the wagon. now it's coffee AND reefer. neither does enough anymore, though.

Wait! is this the 'Totally Random Post' thread??

I was growing up with Satchmo and Jazz. Funny, when I am stoned in the night, I often connect the Laptop to the TV and hear about YouTube, Old Jazz music.

I find listening to whatever music you are into just makes things better. It can give you a sense of deja vu and bring back things you'd totally forgotton about.
