Deep Stoner Thoughts

I bought a $1 can opener. Lasted a few days.

I bought a $2 can opener. Lasted a week maybe.

I bought a $4 can opener. Lasted a month ?

A friend gave me a comparable can opener. Lasted 2 months.

How much money do you have to spend to get a decent can opener ?

What is the secret ?

I've been using the handle to open about 3/8 inch at a time. Than making a whole bunch of notches. The top usually comes off with a few (super sharp) shards of metal sticking out.

As long as I don't cut myself, it's highly functional ! :woohoo:

But really - do I need to spend $10 to get a can opener that lasts 6 months ?

get a p51 can opener. a real US shelby military one.
should be a few bucks on ebay. p38 would work also
they are smaller. i have p38's on all my keychains.
it will last you a lifetime. good luck

its interesting since the whole reason why governments build stadiums for these teams(symbolic tribes) is to distract peoples passions away from being focused on political tribes.

a p38 will test your lifespan if you're hungry ..:wallbash:

I bought a Black& Decker electric can opener. It didn't work very good. Then a metal piece & a plastic piece broke off.
Has worked great ever since.

Thanks a lot !

I'm using the can opener the way that it can be used, 3/8 inch notches at a time. It's not that hard and it's better than pursuing a Holy Grail.

I think I need to watch a video to figure out how that P51 works.

They are actually easy to use once you get the hang of them. Most cans I buy now have flip top lids on them though. Don't even need a can opener any more.

Companies like Google and Amazon illustrate how Economies of Scale can create an overwhelming formidable machine.

Of course, Economies of Scale also apply to the Oppression of Humans. The FBI for example. The DEA for another.

Spent the summer looking for Forrest Fenns Treasure...found the ecstacy of gold at Mile High seeing Metallica...just got back from the White River National Forest where I roamed with a dirty hippie country girl. It was deeeep.
