Now we have prove that it's everywhere.
And funny how the definition we know best doesn't really stand out among all it's other meanings. Shows how much the plant's still in the underground...

Pol Pot....could be a good name for some killer Cambodian bud.

....but perhaps not so popular in Cambodia considering what Pol Pot did to his own people.

Pol Pot's a good name for a killer cambodia paranoia inducing sativa landrace, but if we used male pollen to hit a UK Cheese cut, we get a more mellow strain: Paul Potts.

I had some Cambodian Red toward the end of the VN war. Damn good weed. I prefer to call it weed myself. The world is what has gone to pot.

Good luck with Irma. Largest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic. Bearing down on South Florida now.

Here we have uncontained wildfires raging, and people being evacuated all over the state. We could use the rain to put this shit out.

I think all the Country's currently missing is locusts, plague, and famine. Seems we have the flooding, fires and storms all covered pretty well.

Good luck to all of you enduring what ever is to come of all of this.

Alaska looks better and better every day. At least for now.

The deadly H7N9 bird flu is spreading rapidly in China, so plague may be right around the corner. From the looks of the store shelves in the news in Florida, famine may be an issue in the hurricane aftermath. And I read that the grasshoppers (locust) in the west are really bad this year. We already had our floods here this winter/spring, and are still recovering from that. The Columbia River crested above flood stage here in May (near where the fires are). California is still rebuilding several massively damaged bridges, roads and dam spillways. So I think we have all the Biblical disaster bases covered.

Mexico was slammed with a huge earthquake yesterday. Washington, Oregon and California could get hit with the same size quake along the Cascadia fault line that is way overdue now. Western Oregon will basically be wiped out by that size quake, and it could even be bigger, like a 9.0 or even a 9.5. The say adios to the PNW as we know it. Oh, and the tremors at the Yellowstone caldera are picking up in intensity and number lately.

Good luck with Irma and stay safe! That thing looks Yuuuuge!

How much Money do you have to spend to get a DECENT CAN-OPENER ?!

How much Money do you have to spend to get a DECENT CAN-OPENER ?!

I bought a $1 can opener. Lasted a few days.

I bought a $2 can opener. Lasted a week maybe.

I bought a $4 can opener. Lasted a month ?

A friend gave me a comparable can opener. Lasted 2 months.

How much money do you have to spend to get a decent can opener ?

What is the secret ?

I've been using the handle to open about 3/8 inch at a time. Than making a whole bunch of notches. The top usually comes off with a few (super sharp) shards of metal sticking out.

As long as I don't cut myself, it's highly functional ! :woohoo:

But really - do I need to spend $10 to get a can opener that lasts 6 months ?

Within the fire and out upon the sea
Crazy man Michael was walking
He met with a raven with eyes black as coals
And shortly they were a-talking
Your future, your future I would tell to you
Your future you often have asked me
Your true love will die by your own right hand
And crazy man Michael will cursèd be
Michael he ranted and Michael he raved
And beat up the four winds with his fists o
He laughed and he cried, he shouted and he swore
For his mad mind had trapped him with a kiss o
You speak with an evil, you speak with a hate
You speak for the devil that haunts me
For is she not the fairest in all the broad land
Your sorcerer's words are to taunt me
He took out his dagger of fire and of steel
And struck down the raven through the heart o
The bird fluttered long and the sky it did spin
And the cold earth did wonder and startle
O where is the raven that I struck down dead
And here did lie on the ground o
I see that my true love with a wound so red
Where her lover's heart it did pound o
Crazy man Michael he wanders and calls
And talks to the night and the day o
But his eyes they are sane and his speech it is plain
And he longs to be far away o
Michael he whistles the simplest of tunes
And asks of the wild wolves their pardon
For his true love is flown into every flower grown
And he must be keeper of the garden
