Does sending the seeds of any plant to someone to grow them, for needed nourishment or medication constitute an act of humanity?

....and does that act of humanity supersede any laws of any government?

it is both the right of, and the obligation to, any citizen to disobey an unjust law. i look at it like this. a child is drowning in a pond located behind a fence posted "no trespassing". would you lean on the fence & watch that child drown while waiting for the rescue squad/permission from property owner to enter?

AOH nailed it, imo.

Nothing/nobody should have the authority to thwart humanitarian aid, under ANY circumstances what so ever.

The dangerous old hippie is right of course, but everything under the sun is open to interpretation and when thats a fact, miscommunications invariably occur.A perfect example would be my first sentence in this thread,of course he understands the play on words and that I don't consider him to be dangerous, but that's him others can and do misunderstand things all the time. It's why I'm so careful about joining groups and that sort of thing. It's my problem not anyone else's,so I'm sure I limit myself unfairly because of my internal communication problems but that's life [that's liifee}that's what people say..you're ridin high in April, shot down in may..Damn ethyl..

Yeah, great lyrics Floridian.....That Old Blue Eye's (Frank Sinatra) song keeps bouncing around in my brain, from time to time. So I thought that I would put the lyrics down here for us all to enjoy.

'That's Life'

That's life (that's life), that's what people say
You're riding high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June
I said, that's life (that's life), and as funny as it may seem
Some people get their kicks
Stompin' on a dream
But I don't let it, let it get me down
Cause this fine old world it keeps spinning around

[Chorus]
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet
A pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself flat on my face
I pick myself up and get back in the race

[Verse 2]
That's life (that's life), I tell ya, I can't deny it
I thought of quitting, baby
But my heart just ain't gonna buy it
And if I didn't think it was worth one single try
I'd jump right on a big bird and then I'd fly

[Chorus]
I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate
A poet, a pawn and a king
I've been up and down and over and out
And I know one thing:
Each time I find myself laying flat on my face
I just pick myself up and get back in the race

[Verse 3]
That's life, that's life
And I can't deny it
Many times I thought of cutting out but my heart won't buy it
But if there's nothing shaking come here this July
I'm gonna roll myself up in a big ball and die
My, my

That's funny man and a good point too,who has ever heard of the word gruntled ever used in a sentence?I sure haven't.How about taking it further into the "vocabulary zone"?Hey man, please don't gruntle me about it.."I found myself slightly disgruntled, but his incessant gruntling became hard to deal with.I really have a problem with folks that gruntle too much.OK enough gruntleization for one thread.

Why do country music vocals carry over the speaking "accent" when other, nonnative vocals (and decidedly pronounced as different in accent) singing the same language do not?
