I will laugh if Trump gets the popular vote this time around on top of his electoral college victory. States that would normally go Democrat will have to vote Trump if so yet at the same time no red or swing states implemented the popular vote law so it won't hurt us one bit.

This is absolutely true.

The problem is that his base has much in common with that mentality.

He longs for the public to admire him.

He doesn't know how to possess any admirable traits though.

That TV show went straight to his head. His ego is boundless.

I have no doubt that many of his supporters know he's a hollow hack, and are simply entertained by all of his posturing.

I hope they feel appropriate regret when they realize that it was all he needed to make his mark.

It's sad what passed for political intellect and diplomatic integrity.

But it seems no shame is felt.

They even call people bitches and taunt them with the idea that Trump is going to be reelected regardless.
