When it comes to Robbie there are many stories I bumped into a guy at UBC at the Cannabinoids in Clinical practice seminar he told me Robbie has told him stories about how he collected the seeds when he was a boy in Africa when his dad was posted there and his life work was developing the outstanding cultivar ! Seriously haha .
That being said There was a guy at overgrow names FET he and I were trading many strains he was suppose to send me a strain called timafaya diablo for some reason he could not follow through with that agreement so he sent me 2 packages with 11 seeds in each Robbie was over as he was often back than getting cuttings from me , he had been bugging the shift out of me for Africans I told him he could have a of the packages of Congolese if he promised to give me back cuttings , I gave him a package he got that cutting , I had just been in Spain with Alex and Kaiki so everyone assumed that the seeds came from Spain they did not come from Spain now Fet very well could have to them in Spain , I have 2 congolese Landraces 1 of which did come from Spain but much later after all this BS .
I crossed that cutting with Acapulco gold x afghani to breed "red congo"
I just got a copy of the cutting back but it seems to have declined or I remember it better than it was ,do you have the cutting ? I would like to compare it on the GC to the landrace and other congo the plant I have from the Island is just crap , it would seem Karmically correct that someone should return the strains to me considering it would not be in our country without me

Listen there has been so much shit said Robbie has issues I treated the guy very nice for years he jacked everything I ever gave him the first time I ever came on line was seeing him claim that he bred Orange peako cambodian I gave him and Asia girl I had given him seeds the first time we met , he and some former employee's sincerely ripped me off for close to 50 LBS of pot and a huge collection of cuttings I read green supreme talk about how he grew and smoked the Viet black I use in WN , it was stollen along with G13 bx 4 males etc I was in Europe at the time and had legal issues , I was deeply let down by what happened than they used my $ to start Cannabis world where they slagged me to no end .These types of people create nothing , they have no ability to innovate and the more success those around them have the more they hate , that success is not only around the plant but could be success in any number of area's if they had any exposure to your process they will claim it as there own I have witness this over and over they always ask you for hand outs the more you give them the less they respect you , its weird but I have been at this for decades now and I just see it over and over than there are the types who don't give a rats ass about anything but $ , they are at least predictable The funny thing at this point is had some of these people not burned bridges they would be next to me now .
I once met Robbie on commercial drive I had a friend with me from Goa India , he had shared some really nice blonde indian pollen hash (goa cream ) There was a group of us so we decided to go to Wazubi's it was a hang out place back in the Day Robbie had already had a few drinks when we met him I don't drink and my friend is Muslim , anyways I had to pop out to do some biz I before I went Robbie had told my friend how he was strict vegetarian there a discussion of the topic when I returned Robbie had had a few more for sure I ordered a Steak and another friend ordered some other meat dish , Robbie asked me for a bite so I give this rather drunken man a bite well he orders a steak !
My Friend confronts him and says you Just told me how you have been a vegetarian for years , Robbie says "no I did not " my buddy Tamir still mentions that werido in passing everyone at the table was part of the discussion , Robbie has a fundamental issue with basic honesty , I have herd from a few other folks these crazy tales he tells .

Its fucked up I wrote the guy off that night , the more distance I placed the more he hated me but its all good with me , its funny when I look back a life of action has got me where I am and I like where I am at these days !
I would be interested in a cutting of your BX line mage to try to put some like back into the lousy cuttings I got back from Courtney .

I think it would be nice to make a STS reseal of my Congo Sandal wood pheno to your cutting

I dont know storyes behind, I used to talk to Charles, Akene, Alex and all, all stayed in my house. People who knows me knows well how I am. Only thing I know is that in a certain moment some people started to insult me in forums in privates not knowing me at all or even my job which I thought was really weird, I knew true reasons short ago. Period.

So not interest anymore on these issues as said before.

Myself, I'm on the fence... why haven't I seen a classic Mendelian split in the F2's if the Congo used is a pure Sativa? I feel like the Chunk walked all over the Congo in this cross as it does in most others. If the Congo was a pure Sativa, shouldn't I have seen 25% of my F2s end up looking like the maternal side of the F1?

That sounds pretty reasonable, a few extreme recessive traits should show up just like happened in the DC X Tom's Haze F2 or VietChunk F2 as seen in the forums. It would support Raco's theory and Reeferman's quotes on the cut's origin.

But anyway, someone close to the breeder said that he was told that Timanfaya could simply have been an acclimatissed haze hybrid. So I guess neither Congo, Cape Verde or anything fancy like that.

Whatever it was, the plants that lean towards it in the F3 and F4 have amazing fuel,sage and skunk(animal) smells. The Deep Chunk types from those generations aren't as interesting in the smell department. I love the plants that I'm finding!
