DAY 32 healthy but lacking flowers (pics)

32 days from flower formation or 32 days from flip to 12/12?

From that first picture of your roots they look highly undeveloped which will lead to smaller yields. Why don't you compare your healthy plants roots to your slow plants roots...

ScubNinja thanks for more details. I have an ominous feeling that you are correct in your diagnosis. In the standing catch basins in my trays before they are sponged up nightly, there are lots of little nearly microscopic bugs squirming in the water. Hardly moving unless you really look at them.
I am going to go and read that whole thread and learn all i can. Will report back what i find with my loupe. Thanks again.

Gonzo. We are now on day 37 from the flip and as mentioned a few times Roots have been compared to the healthier plants. Furry...not furry...lots...little...white...brown. Thanks for the tip though, it is exactly what i thought to do!

Very nice grow mate ... do you flush your plants with straight water every few weeks ?
because that can help stop the salt/calcium buildup. But you say you can see bugs , Maybe flush the system with some lightly diluted soapy water.

that far into flowering would be bad to use some sort of toxic chem ?

Other than the possible bug problem, adding to what Eviltwin mentioned earlier, excess N delays flowering almost to the point of it being stopped dead in its tracks producing fruit. What also comes to mind is that in an N toxicity the root system will be under developed. Maybe its a mix of that and the bugs? I'm sure once you have sorted the bugs and added a nice amount of P and K to your feed things will be all good.

You gotta love the growing community, because it's like a whole big house of brothers and sisters and there is almost always someone to come help when you get stumped on something!

Scrubby you did a fantastic job helping and correctly diagnosing his problem!!! A wonderful job indeed scrubninja!

I know that is what I had with my first grow, I am very thankful I never has to re use the 10 gallon pot I had my first grow plant in, I had to use a huge pot cause my plant was over 6 feet tall...

I only had it in there for 3 weeks and I did not see much of a problem yet and I ended up flushing all the soil I used so no soil was near other of anything which is why I got lucky and got rid of them, cause it sounds like more of a nightmare than the borg......

Oh god ya gotta love the community :D

No worries mate  To tell the truth, I've never seen someone be so happy to discover they had phylloxera! Haha, it is good though that you know. Best o' luck.
