Damn i got robbed at gunpoint last night!!

Yea the world is officially a shit hole. I was coming out of a buddies with my 9 year old son and two young kids ran up on me and my son. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything as we had just got in the car. Always be aware of your surroundings no matter where you are. Stay safe IC

You did do something,by handing over what you had you kept you + your son alive,who know's what could of happened if you didnt hand over.
If you had of reacted your son may have no father,we have to show our kids how to deal with situations like this,we cant all see it coming all the time.
You did the right thing by you and yours.

It is a fukD world out there and each generation is getting farther from family and closer to the law of the club and fang. YOUR KID IS SAFE. Your child also still has a father. Some dumbass teenagers are still alive and not about the face life in prison for a stupid adolescence move that could have taken multiple lives. Yeah your out $300 and at a time like this we need every cent we can get but really its just a bunch of paper mankind has placed value on. In reality it has about as much worth toilet paper and hopefully you had more Budda Blessings at home.

I am happy to hear that no lives were lost or mentally damaged. Remember use this as an example to teach your son the morals he should have. Remind him that people are more desparate than ever and no worldly possesion is worth losing a life over. Cheers to reacting as you did and as angry as you may be over it all remember the outcome could have been much worse had you not stayed calm and been an ideal parental figuire putting your childs safety above all else. Karma will come karma will come of that I have complete faith.

Forgive me for laughing JT but this is got to be one of the funniest things I have read all year (props guy or gal you got some big ones) I would have taken that secret to my grave lol.

damn sounds like something that happens in my area all the time...robberies in oakland and SF are through the roof. just riding the bus and talking on your phone ups your odds of getting suckerpunched and robbed.


my friend was robbed for an OZ a few weeks ago at gunpoint.....damn rippers are everywhere. if only we had more lax gun laws and were able to fight back...however that wont be the case because california is a welfare state whos DAs are soft on young thugs and politicians dont wanna do anything about it.

dont worry...those idiots have already wasted your money on shoes or alcohol and will probably have to rob again..and hopefully this time the dude is armed and shoots one of them in the face....

He basically wanted to know why they did it. He told me he wanted to cry, get out and run and call the police. But he showed a lot of courage and just sat there calm. I felt so helpless cause as a parent you always wanna protect your children and at that moment I could do nothing that wouldn't have put his life at risk. I'm blaming myself cause I wasn't on point. My grandma was held at knifepoint by a crackhead when I was 7. She slammed the door on this dood prolly braking his arm, threw the car an reverse runnin his leg over and then as the dood was getting up she put the dood over the roof of her car at about 20mph,, motherfucker got wrecked. and to top it off some cop saw the whole thing happend from down the street and arrested the dood after already getting mangled. But.... man i miss my grams.

Reading about this situation really brings up deep feelings with me.

When I was young the US goverment spent alot of money on me teaching me to become a kiling machine. Trained heavily in hand to hand combat for work on the front lines. It was sort of a family thing. When you get out of that type of environment, it's really hard to just turn it off.

My wife, kids, and myself were confronted one time by armed thugs when we were in the big apple, and my training kicked in, and I really feel bad about what I did to those kids. It really traumatized my kids seeing something like that. Looking back I probably should have just gave them the money in that situation with family present.

I believe in having ur second ammendment rights and in cali u can get ur concealed permit pretty easy. However in this situation, the rigth thing, even if he had the wep would have been to pay them because the kid was there. Imagine the harm it would do for a 9 yr old 2 see his dad kill a kid? Regardless of the obvious safety reasons.
