okay bros...weigh in on this one...

so, i have one more run in me for the foreseeable future. reason being, we are going to be having a baby in april and cannot put ourselves at risk. while the baby is young we are going to have sitters, parents, etc over at our house a lot more and the basement is where i grow, out laundry machines are down there...and it simply will not work until we buy a new house and i can build in a grow room and have more space. our current house is less than 900sqft...tight quarters to say the least....

so, since i have small space and sooo many plants i want to try...im not looking for HUGE yields this next and final run, i am looking for multiple flavors and multiple plants....

the most i can run are 9 5gall geopots in my tent...i am thinking about popping 3 seeds of nine different strains and hoping i can get 9 unique females to flower out...i will force flower young, eliminate males, top and revert back to veg...and then only concentrate on keepers...i will also be mainlining and using supersoil...

i will be posting my seed list tonight and i want people to weigh in...i have an idea of what i want to do but i would love some feedback too...

i havent weighed them yet, i more than likely will play with it then. being out of town for 6 days after harvest, they got a little more crispy than i would have liked. i have some hygrometers and am watching the RH slowly rise...final weight and pics will be this weekend...i have sampled the connie chung and it is very powerful. taste is sweet as well. pure sugar...

dtrain #3 is def in second place. she is almost as musky in smell, frosty as shit with HUGE dense nugs. tight and heavy like marbles the popcorn nugs are (yoda speak)

some VERY narcotic smoke...which i tend to enjoy after smoking so much sour diesel and chemdog...its a nice change of pace. the CC has plenty of juice though if i need it

Hey Bud,

Just read thru your whole thread, great work! I've personally never grown from seed, but have always wondered - why is it that the new shoots from seeded plants grow two per the same node, rather than alternating left/right like cloned plants? Every once in a while some of my blue dream clones will exhibit two shoots per node, but I've never known why..

If my description is ambiguous please let me know.

beans will simply grow more symmetrical. i have seen people take some very symmetrical cuts as well

Ok.. But why?

Anyone with a background in genetics or plant physiology want to chime in? I'm looking for a detailed explanation beyond personal observation. Don't mean to downgrade your response budman, just curious if anyone out there can explain the science behind it. I take thousands of cuts a month, and I NEVER see true symmetry like I do from users on here with beans. Once in a while my Dream shows it, but I've never seen it on any other genetic.

My educated guess would be that fresh beans = a fresh genetic start, and I've heard that over time genetics get 'washed down' so to speak, as the chromosome telomeres shorten with each new clone generation. But that still doesn't explain the node symmetry, and why I occasionally see it on plants that are well into their 30th progeny..
