It's a roll of the dice but if you want trees you better be cracking beans ASAP...
Some grow room consultants on there claim they are gifting clones to clients.
Currently it looks like $30-$40 prices on clones online but I've been hearing stories of a thousand and up for anything like Glue or better among the commercial growers in the area.
I've been hanging out in grow shops here and in RI showing off my gear and people are flowing through the doors all day long with stuff for sale.
I'll bet many hydro shops can point you in the direction of genetics if you are somewhat discreet and not a tool about it.
There's a shop near me giving away seeds with purchases but I don't think they advertise it.
Anyone dropping serious money at a grow shop has to expect a hook up now that gifting is legal.
If you are medical the TetraHydro Club in Wakefield RI has a genetic swap Sunday March 19th.
I'll have clones as well as female cookie x GG#4 seedlings and my seed line there.
Plenty of time to get a weed card by then and they accept all states cards at the club there.
Also US seedbanks should be pretty safe to use in a rec state so there's that too.

Depends on the shop. Kind Love does 20/piece or 3/45 (personal use.) Last week we had to repop a whole grow and were able to find 800 clones for 10/piece (recreational license, on which there is a 25% excise tax for both parties. Medical is much more reasonable.)

i'd love to make the scene @ a farmers market ( have the real deal clone only gg4 cuts) but wouldn't want to come prepared and not leave empty handed....

To address some other ideas that came up in the thread (and this is a good thread...)
I've heard of Mass. corruption but I wasn't aware of any mafia/mexican schwag connections. At least in Mass your program is run by the Board of Health. The ultimate hypocrisy in CO (IMO) is that the program is enforced by the Department of Revenue. The same department that collects our taxes/fees/fines on licenses, background checks, sales, payroll, violations etc. is the same department that sets what that rate is. You take a bunch of paper-pushers and former DEA agents from other states- give them all guns & a fleet of Escalades and you get a pseudo bureaucratic machismo OPERATING ON AN AGENT-TO-AGENT INTERPRETATION OF THE LAW. An agent shut down my medical facility essentially to prove a point to a trainee. If any of you ever get a say in how your states program is run, don't let the DOR enforce it. (Which would be tough because they're setting a very high precedent in control and intimidation/neuroses/tax collection.)
But there's good news! I, like others in the thread, give away genetics/knowledge/buds all the time. I don't pass it around for karma or whatever. It's just the right thing to do. People like us who take the mind-games out of the process really do make a difference. Well formed arguments for the integrity of what serious growers do need to influence those who don't know better and if those ideas can percolate and leak into media and mass consciousness, then that can hopefully influence the market. (Is my idealism showing?)
