those are great ideas Leeroy. Willie Wortel's was something like that, upstairs open space, with huge low round tables and moroccan leather poufs arranged around them for seating, massive hookah in the middle of the tables. It wasn't big enough though, otherwise it would have been a perfect spot!

Don't worry about the future of our event because it doesn't need legal approval anyways. We are quite accustomed to doing things privately when necessary and there are many places on the planet that could yet host a 420 cup anyways.

I doubt NL will block us in Amsterdam next year given our behavior this year. BOG

We were model stoners spending lots of Euros and not just on pot either...

Thats what i like to hear DG, it will take a hell of a lot more that that to stop us, especailly with the snowball effect of the cup (bigger by the year)
They will be begging for good spenders like us, damn i spent around £100 just on hot chocolate, thats what i call supporting the economy.

Yeah for sure TC...someone gave me some stats, wish I had written them down! Silly me But it went something like this, tourist revenue realized in the dam (where is all the money spent kind of thing) ranked like this (don't have the actual euros spent noted, but was certainly ALOT):

#1: Red Light (Prostitution, Live Sex Shows, and Sex Shops)
#2: Coffee Shops (Cannabis & Hashish Sales)
#3: Hotels (Accommodations)
#4: Fast Food & Restaurants

The Dutch people (both residents and merchants) KNOW how much revenue is
at stake and without their 2nd highest revenue producer, the 3rd and 4th
will fall like a house built of cards.

So, a person has to eat.....have a place to sleep....something to smoke....and for many, a place to well, you know...visit with the ladies.

Don't look for any major changes in Amsterdam methinks

talk about spendin' euro. I got the bill Monday. Even though I paid room and air in advance, I was well surprised with how much I charged additionally. Not to mention the wad of cash...

I went with a budget for food, weed and fluid, was given an upgrade to expert judge=lots of weed and still managed to go 150 euro over my budget, was worth it though, would not change a thing(except maybe more time and more spending), seems i spend all my time wishing my life away wanting to get to the cup or end of crop of end of veg, always something to look forward to.

I'm with you True. Always looking ahead. Otherwise life would get boring quickly. I know they won't be able to affect the Cup. But it's a shame how far conseratives will go to control you life. They'll cut off their own nose in spite of common sence.
