i agree, the staff at fat city were very accomadating ,nothing was too much trouble and 2 be honest they had the cleanest toilets i'd ever seen in the dam
,most the time it was empty though

but yes it was too small ,on voting night it was packed ,and some of us who had sat there for 3 days couldnt even get a seat

where did all those people appear from on the voting day ?

i think next year i'll just get a day pass for the voting day

Sativa Believa,

...yeah well....ya'know....I love to here other people's ideas.....I am always open to listen and take on board any constructive criticism.....it's just that when someone comes to see me who says that they would like to help out by discussing their ideas with me and maybe helping out with sales e.t.c.......and before I have seen anything tangible....they whip out some contract for me to sign.....I'm sorry but I get the heebie-geebies........

...now if someone went up to me and said.....Hey'....I'm helping....I just got the interest for the 4/20 Growers Cup from 16 coffeeshops and 26 growers.......and they all want to participate and contribute .....lets cut a deal!....

....then sure........

The whole contract idea sounds fishy to me. SB should want to help just to make the party better not for personal gain. I understand its a business but signing contracts........ too corporate for me. Keep it green!!!! JAH guidance and protection.

Gypsy, like I've said I understand your position... yet I remain, I will only do marketing and sales efforts if there is a signed agreement on sales commissions... I feel I cannot be a sales agent representing your business without... sorry...

The reason I made it a public discussion is that all can participate, add ideas and build the 420 cup...

My first post, opening this thread, states some information I would like to receive after entering some weed... this info is not meant for the judges... the blind test would still make up the winner... but afterwards everyone could make up their own top 3 based on their own criteria... and buying those seeds from the personalised top 3!

Behind my second post, there lies a whole marketing concept... which I am keen to hold on my intellectual rights... so I am hesitant to show it to anyone... or post it publicly... not untill I find some sincere interest, I will share more...

sounds like someone wants to hang on to your shirt tail of success. gypsy, to me.you've done all the foundation to the 420 cup and this dude wants to suck up some profit with some idea's i'm sure you've already thought of.always a tic trying to hang on and suck some profit off of someone else's wallet.

I really enjoyed the time at Nols but maybe next year we could make a whole day of it, maybe take over the coffee shop for a whole day just for the people attending the cup? Was so much fun but seemed like the time we were there flew. I am presuming it will be more than 3 days next year or maybe just living in hope.
My other suggestion is a main venue that is open much later, i mean like maybe till 4am, hell 24 hours would be nice.
Peace

I'm Dutch and will buy you weed

I'm Dutch and will buy you weed

Aloha,

Nol said he'd print up T-shirts that proudly proclaimed "I'm Dutch and I'll buy your weed."

This is a rouse.

Will never work.

Remember, the Feds in America completely prohibit cannabis (except for the six remaining people they actually freely give it to as medicine)...and therefore there is no cannabis use or selling in America. uh huh

I thought that the Dutch were smarter than to behave like ostriches.

You know...

If they make it illegal it will go away, head in a hole... no worries.

Narco-tourism is a multi million dollar industry for the Netherlands. A fuckin stupid law won't even dent it.

Test

Test

Its only a small test study in a city in the most southern city in NL. I really doubt it will lead to a full ban on tourists. The mayor in Maastricht wants to legalize growing as to much effort is wasted on catching growers. Also in Maastricht you can buy Kilo's from certain houses. I also seen on the news they will give out cards to the locals for verification of residence. I think its just a test to get the rest of euro off there back. But like everyone else i await for Nol's responce. I didn't see anything mentioned on hennepdesk but i will ask the dutchies. L8r Jubei

Ground soft seating and many lounges in something like a open plan warehouse would be my idea of fitting people in with soft seating for their buttocks :biglaugh:

I like sitting on the floor when im stoned too, less hieght to fall when youve smoked too much! hehe

I pick up lots of secondhand and reconditioned lounges and they are a great way to provide quick seating for many people at partys.

You could have all the stalls of seed companys and products etc where ever you wanted, and a huge lounge/sitting area with soft seating on the floor and some lounges if you could find them at a decent price that is economical?? or maybe hire them temporarily until the event gets big enough to buy your own furniture and seating needs?

Ive only got a small house but ive got 4 lounges lol i love them!
I think they are a perfect way to relax while smoking. Are there some furniture stores near you in the Dam' that you could interest in providing seating for exchange of free advertising at the cup maybe?

And if an actual premises is hard to find, would the council allow you to use an open park to set up a big marquee maybe>?

A few thoughts form over the pond
