Why can't I find them? I'm on their website and nothing there apart from the Florida x F1 Durb.

Has anyone here grown out their Pine Tar Kush yet? $120 for 21 seeds sounds pretty reasonable

I've heard it is rather pine scented. Also seems to pass on pine aromas in hybrids...😉
Make some F#+ if you buy some and you'll always have a tool to test other lines with. It has been dominant in most hybrids I've tried it in.

I've read the posts in this thread about the Chem 91 S1's....anybody got some new Intel on them??
Specifically how often are stanky/potent plants popping up, if at all?

Only flowered 2 out myself. Let them get pollinated, but nothing stood out about them enough to get me to pop the resultant seeds.

that's a bummer ,I am going to run a few single seeds of chem s1 and crosses this fall (chem91,chemd,chem1 s1s,chem1 x chemd, headband x chem d and chem1 xgg4).What did you hit them with?

Not too big of bummer...few things throw out fire every other time🤓. How rad would that be?
I'd bet a dollar most would find something good in 2 packs, which is what I have.

Without logging in elsewhere to check, I'd guess they were hit by either LovePotion#1 (f1), B13, THH or Uzbeki. My gut says G13 x Burmese...but the Haze and Uzbeki make sense too. Was bulking out old packs of the RM stuff then but all 4 ran in succession

Awesome thread. Tried a bunch of csi and liked just about everything. The lemon party/lemon tree families are absolutely nuts. More limonene in 1 gram than a bag of lemons
.fkng greasy all over.. I've tried all the chems, and my favorite by far is from the Chem D pools.. funky.. could use structure n yield improvements is probably why it's not famous alone but made many famous in its lineage. It's king in stinky funk and taste for sure

Nice, I did a couple lemon party S1s. One was pretty insane. Almost like an extra frosty haze plant. Bit of a surprise

CSI Humbolt interview part 1 has been posted by @Heavy Dayze to The Potcast Patreon.

At about the 39 minute mark, Heavy asks if there are any specific traits a male passes on. Kaleb said its real variable. He sent plants in to Phylos for testing the genetic stability in an S1 project, and was saying which male you choose is essential to what progeny turns out and the stability of the line.

My take away message is that it may be best to choose stable robust males, rather than use a mixture of a large number of males when trying to work a line to improve it and get a result that has stability. :smoke:
