Yes it's alaskan thunderfuck....Really good indica we enjoyed the heck out of it...
The club has my G-13 and who knows what they are calling it, if anything....
Im pretty sure they have a mutant pheno , it was quite awhile back when i gave them to them...I know there was two pheno's they got from the first session..
I dont think any cuts ever made it from the third pheno anyways...
Whatever the case when i ask The Managment what they thought about "them cuts" they give me shit eating grins and a big thumbs up....

Alaskan thunderfuck is NOT a strain (not as I know it anyway)

"Matanuska thunderfuck" or "mat-su thunderfuck" is the old school clone only straian. (yes ..I have it)

"MTF" NOT "atf" is over 90% sativa....so whatever they give u that is "thunderfuck" and "indica"...is either false...or maybe look into the genetics further....(maybe a NL cross of sorts)

get the specific info...and i'm sure you'll find that its not MTF....maybe u can tell us what ATF really is tho????

alright ...here is the MTF story as I know it....and I'm sure that this info is as legit as it gets...maybe some others can elaborate on areas where my knowledge stops...or if anything is at all false.

...also if someone wants to make a new thread about MTF for others to easily identify and respond too...I think it would be a great idea...and you can paste this info to the thread if you so desire.

this is not cut/copied or pasted from anywhere...this is coming from my own head as I type.

-First of all the strain is known as "matanuska thunderfuck" NOT "thunderfuck" or "alaska thunderfuck" ...it sounds "petty" ...but this IS important ....in Alaska dealers have a habit of calling EVERYTHING "thunderfuck" same in the lower 48 but far less common.

-if someone is trying to sell you "matanuska thunderfuck" it sure as hell better be. "matanuska thunderfuck"

-MTF is NOT a landrace variety...it was brought to Alaska in the 1970's by a "Biker"...a "hells angel" to be specific....and its orgin before that is unknown ...as far as I know)..i believe that said "biker" came to AK from Cali.
Today in Alaska, MTF is still a "Biker Thing" ...and they hold MTF in high regard. It's damn rare for a non-biker to be associated w/ cultivation of MTF...and Clones are next to impossible to come by.....and thats the only way its available.

-MTF is extremly stable...to the point that its Impossible as far as I know to be able to make a clone "hermie" ...i've tried 1000 times in order to get s1 seeds....but it has never worked...and YES I have tried EVERYTHING short of gibrellic acid...so please dont advise me on that topic.

-MTF is NOT indica...its about 90% sativa...and so is the high....there is NO indica couchlock...NO fuzzy head...and ...this is the best thing about MTF...you dont develop a tolerence no matter how often you indulge.

-MTF is also known in Alaska as "TANG" short for tangerine...which is how is smells after being cured. there is also a def. red grape scent during early cure....and a point during cure that is almost apricot...and always a diesel/fuel undertone.

-many will say that MTF is a version of NL...thats not true

-from many reports that Ive seen/read MTF has the highest THC content at 28% tested on 1 plant....I dont understand how they evaluate that ...but I do know that I have not had more potent weed.....some pretty close (BH, TFB ...are damn close...but still different)

KODIAK GOLD...havent grown it or tried it...but it looks almost exactly like MTF.

I've heard that its "Highly bred/inbred", "not stable", and lots of dif. phenos (all not good signs)

I lived on kodiak island for a long time...and i never saw anyone with that or anything close...I always thought that it was a strain chosen for a look...and given an Alaskan name (marketing ploy)???...not to dis referman, but like I said I lived on kodiak island and in that small of a community ..you do actually know most people...maybe homie was hiding out when all this was going on. (but u know who those people are too)

I only heard stories of "alaskan thunderfuck" since the 70's..
Raved as one of the worlds best strains, seemed like it was silver in coloring to me though....
Yeah anything good in cali usually does come from the H.A.'s - usually people refer to the growers as "union" or "Humbolt growers union" though....
Not sure where that comes in or why i even said it...I have been one percent since a teenager though....Who cares right?
Anyways lets just keep it real bro....
AlaskanThunderFuck was the only thing we ever heard it called in San Diego back then.. From my sisters good friend who moved there in the 70's....
He brought some back a few times but i never got to try it.....
He said it was silver then though, and this weed from the club was sorta silver.
I know what your saying about everyone calling everything in your area by one name..
Out here everything was "humbolt" for about a decade, until the grandaddy's and urkle's came around....Anything north of frisco was "humbolt" in the aftermath of C.A.M.P's devastation when the union lost the ability to continue spreading seed for free. People started growing pure sativas and calling them "humbolt" which is total bullshit. "WTF do ya mean this is airbud man" was what i said to that bag.
Yukon, I know noting about MTF thanks for the info....
ATF was supposedly an afghani imported which got silver due to acclimatization, and autoflowers due to photoperiod. This was what i heard in the 70's from the junkyard rats. (people who know the real story because they are affilliated with H.A.'s)

good info yukon, i knew the biker story, hard to get your hands on,and clone only part. was hopin maybe you knew more about the lineage but i guess it's unkown your a secret. your right the KG and the MTF do look alot alike, from my experience KG is more of an earthy rich taste, maybe a slight apricot/tang odor to it...there is a definate sativa dom and indica dom pheno of the KG other then that they are pretty uniform, not to sure on the stories and what to believe and not to believe so i was just curious if you knew more since your in the area. does the MFT have a creeper style stone or does it hit you right away? the kg buzz creeps up on you and hits you hard after about 10 minutes after your done smoking. everytime i smoke it and get done i think it's bunk weed, then 10 minutes later i'm stoned. well thats enough for now.
